So, this is my first shot at building a webpage.  It's something I've always wanted to do, but never got around to.  I started building it because if I don't I'd fail my English 309 (Mythologies) class. Pretty good incentive.  So a few words about me...short, red headed, stepchild.
I recently joined the United States Marine Corps and will be shipping off to recruit training (a.k.a. boot camp) 13 March 2006.  My job was originally supposed to be logistics, but then (out of the blue it seems) the paperwork came back saying that I will be a fire-fighter/ rescue specialist.  Ooh-Rah!  Before this I was working in a grocery store meat dept, learning how to cut meat, but before I was there I was a student planning to be a high school English teacher.  Sounds bad doesn't it?  I spent the first two years in the pre-vet program and figured out I don't mix with Chemistry, and I don't have a head for Biology, so I switched to something  that I both enjoy and am good at...English.  In the mean time I happened to take a basic algebraic physics course (phys.205)...and I loved it.  So even though I didn't need it, I took another and at the same time started T.A.ing for phys.205 class, helping to teach the labs. It's an absolute kick in the pants, so like Mr. Gump, 'I just kept running'. Then I thought, "what the heck? I'll just do a Physics minor, then I can teach English
and Physics,".  Okay, so I figure now that's the day I went insane, especially after my Circuit Analysis class (which I enjoyed so much I'll be retaking it!). Actually other than the electricity, it's pretty fun. (Sorry Prof. Getty, it's not your fault my brain's not wired for circuits).
Enough about school, though I am a humongous nerd, and talk about it often.  I am also insanely addicted to pool.  No, not the swimming kind, the billiards kind.  8-ball, 9-ball, strait, whatever, if it weren't for the annoying fact that I have to study, I'd probably play 40 hrs a week.  My friends make fun of me,they say I probably think more about pool, than sex; and they're right. Just remember it's NOT an obsession, it's Dedication.  (It is not an obsession, dammit!)
I also read a ton.  Mr Stephen King, you're my hero.  Above even Mr. Stephen Hawking.  You want to read something that will screw w/ your head, try anything from either of those two. Later, I'll do a page about books, but that's later.
As for outdoor activities, I love to fish, hunt, or well anything that involves the possibility of getting lost in the woods.  Hope you have fun wandering around this site, and if you get a chance, sign my guestbook. Thanks!
