Bear and Brawn

Hostile and angry because steel has been tested
An iron will that refuses surrender
Deny that flesh is not metal
Even with words forged like daggers

They do not harm for there is a softer meaning
Subtle and kind are the eyes
For they show true emotion
That evocations of hate are unfounded

The eyes unveil the facade
Of trying to be aloof, unfeeling, and uncaring
Love and friendship are immune
To the plastic mask

Snarl and growl and lash
Bearing arms and teeth
The smile you try to hide betrays
It bares your soul
