Having been born and bred in Edinburgh, and schooled in an environment with over 70 nationalities and many languages spoken, I am no stranger to the diverse and exciting social fabric that is modern Scotland, which I'm proud of and strive to promote.
As Equal Opportunities Officer I will:

-  Raise awarness of equal opportunities amongst the student body

-  Ensure the Equal Opportunities Code of Practice is adhered to

-  Promote equality and diversity amongst the student body

-  Ensure all students have equal access to the services and facilities of the University and EUSA

-  Ensure all have the same opportunities to fulfil their potential and acheive excellence

-  Assist the Welfare Convener to ensure the success of projects such as World AIDS Day
