Does this offend you?
It does me! I have reached my breaking point with the ACLU/NAACP/Politically Correct nonsense. What put me over the edge you ask? The exhibit at the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science in our fine state capitol Tallahassee by a so-called artist named John Sims, one of the displays is a Confederate Flag hanging by a noose that's titled "The Proper Way to Hang a Confederate Flag". Protest from the Sons of the Confederate Veterans has fallen on deaf ears and the museum will continue to run this display through June 3rd. Not only are we told that, as Southerners, we should be ashamed, but now we have to put up with this kind of insult under the guise of art?
I want to get a group together--as many or as few as I can-- to go to the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science and let them know how we feel. Do I think it will get them to change their minds -- no, not in the PC society we live in. But I think that this display is being housed in Tallahassee, the ONLY Confederate capitol East of the Mississippi not to fall into the hands of the Union forces, is a slap in the face of our ancestors who fought and died for a cause they knew was right.

I've ordered a shirt from Dixie Outfitters to wear. Here's a link,

but if it doesn't come up, it says, "
If this shirt offends you, you need a history lesson." It's $16 or $17 and you can get it up to a 3X. I'm asking you, if you have one shred of pride in your heritage, join me and re-post this. I want to do this Saturday, April 28th. Anyone who wants to get involved with this, please e-mail me to show our support and pride in our Confederate ancestors.

In the meantime, contact the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science and let know how you feel about this blatant display for the respect of our Southern culture, heritage, and the fallen soldiers who fought .
