| Take Hwy50 to Texas Creek Jct Hwy 69 .. Go South to Hillside Jct Rd 198 Go East Rd 198 will turn into FR 300 at Raindow Luthern Camp This is where the Trailhead Starts |

| This Trail Is A Up and Back Trail.. Not to Technical but a rough ride all the vay up.. There is alot of scenery and a few little lakes teaming with native trout ...Im not for sure The total Length It Took Aprox 2 hours Non Stop Up And Less down But you will Need to account For any stops |
| As best as i can describe it there a few land marks to gage your progression... The First is a small lLake 1/3 the way up the lake is not right on the main trail but you will notice the short trail leading up to it |
| The Second is another small lake approx 2/3 up right on the trail..Followed a little farther buy a few sections of crags where most of the trips Pics were taken |
| Finally the Third is a small what appears to be an active mining camp. this is almost to the top of trail and when you reach the end you cant mistake it ..Also a good place to take a few pics See Pic Above...Then back Down................................................ |
| Hwy 50 to Penrose Jct Hwy 115 North.......Or Hwy 115 South from Colorado Springs. To Jct 3rd street you will see a sighn for Brush Hollow Res head West ..To Jct E Street you will see a sign for the BrushHollow Boat Ramp..head North from there keep going once you see the sign for Independence Trail Head ...Its an Additional ??? Miles on the main road There will be a little trail on the Left side heading East Just After A Curve Take that |

| Once you start on the trail you will hit a maall rocky area you should lock it in from here..And a little past the rocky area is the first of many obsticles its a short down hill with a ledge or two and a few big rocks..you can also bypass this on the Left side |

| Right after this section the trail has a junction you need to go to the Left..straight will lead back to main road...you will travel through a medow and then some scrubs before coming to the first major down hill into a canyon you can see the pics of us coming back out above in pics |
| Use Caution Near Bottom there are a few tricky spots .the bottom is a good area for a group photo our pic to left is from there..The rtail continues up and bown through several more canyons..there is a point where you will have tio open a gate to continue.....more to folloow |
