Balsam Tree	abalsamo, naba, Myroxylon balsamum	boil and drink bark for urinary track, prostate, liver or inflammation problems
Basil	albahacar, ca cal tun, Ocimum basilieum	ward off evil spirits
Chamomile	manzanila, Anthemis nobilis	mild tea for nerves, colic, sleepiness, and indigestion
Corn	maize, im che, Zea mays	boil corn silk hair as tea for kidney and bladder, may prevent bedwetting
Cow's Hoof Vine	pata de vaca, ki bix, Bauhinia herrerae	boil and drink vine for bleeding (hemorrhaging) during menses (menstrual period) as birth control
Give and Take Palm	escoba, Crysophia argentea	dried leaves woven into brooms, scrape inner bark and apply to wounds/cuts to stoop bleeding. Heart is edible (very good tasting!)
Jackass Bitters	tres puntas, mano de lagarta, kayabilm, Neurolaena lobata	boil leaves and drink for malaria, ringworm, intestinal parasites, amoebas, fungus, and delayed menses
