The fee for the class will be $45 per student. This fee covers the cost of the class and all supplies needed for each experiment. During each class, students will receive hand-outs that will give you an idea of the experiments we completed that day, along with supplimental information. The class will be limited to 6 children in grades 2nd-4th. The labs will be geared at a mid level for these students, but will enrich all three grade levels. Each month the class will be open to the existing students for the next month, prior to opening up space for new students. Payment for the class will be due 10 days prior to the beginning of the month. (ex. If you are enrolling for September, your payment should be to me by August 20th.) This enables me to be sure to have all supplies needed purchased prior to the beginning of the first class. I will accept local checks* (banks located in Charleston) and cash only. Class fees are per student by the month. There are no partial monthly refunds for missed classes. I am offering a multiple child discount, if you have more than one child within the age range that would like to participate. The second child will be $35. This discount only applies to children within the same family. (The discount is for each class, meaning the discount applies only if you have more then one child enrolled in the same class) To apply for enrollment in the class, each student is asked to complete the application and mail it to me by the 10th of the month prior to enrollment. This will give me time to recieve your application, get back in touch with you. If there is an opening, I will need to receive your payment and consent and liability waiver form for the class by the 20th of the month prior to enrollment. Students are not considered enrolled until payment and the consent and liabilty waiver form have been received. Promptness in dropping off and picking-up children is appreciated. We will begin on time, so being on time is necessary for each student to receive all instruction needed. Students are expected to be picked-up on time, as we also have other schooling and family activities to attend. *There is a $15 fee (in addition to tuition) for any checks that are returned for insufficient funds. This payment will be accepted in cash ONLY.
