It seems like Paige is growing up so quickly, lately. She started homeschool kindergarten and enjoys "doing school". We are using Sonlight curriculum which focuses on literature and history. We real a lot of "real" books.
Paige is also taking, and enjoying, piano lessons. We drive in to Walla Walla once a week for Suzuki lessons. (This means Mom has to learn to play, too, in order to help Paige) We are just starting to use both hands when playing.
Paige is also active in Awana and Jubilate, a children's choir. She memorizes a surprising number of verses in Awana and just last week finished learning all the books of the New Testament.
She is also turning into quite a crafter. In the last month she has learned to make pony bead decorations and learned to stitch on plastic canvas. She really enjoys making anything. Art is her favorite subject. |
