HOME PROJECTS
Yes, we know.  Sane people don't buy places like this.  And this is after all the bushes were removed!  The entire front of the house was covered with them. Most of the trees were next to go.
Believe it or not, I don't even have a good shot of the house now, but this gives you an idea.  This was taken three years ago.  Since, all the trim has been painted white, under the porch has been enclosed, new steps with rails have been added, and a new roof was put on, and a new door and storm door were added.  It really does look much better, but this gives you a feel.

Paige's Room Redo
HOME
This is when we had the wall torn out between the living room & kitchen. It ended up being pantry & recessed fridge on the kitchen side. It is where the maroon wall is (will be shelves & cabinets) on the living room side.
This is the view from the dining room to living room. That's the old window seat.
This is the closest to accurate picture of the wall color. It is a light tan (Brazilian Tan) parchment effect.
Poor quality pic, but shows the window seat. I'm now making cusions, pillows & swags in hunter green.
Not done here yet because we need to access upstairs plumbing. The cabinets go into the recess and will have a faux marble top. Shelves go above them w/victorian moulding on the outside to look like it's built-in. Oh yeah, I'm going to add moulding to the front of the window seat, too.
Dining room looking into family room/kitchen. Still need upper border, crown moulding & ceiling paper.
Dining room looking into living room and leading thru french door into office.

Dining room before. This view is from  the living room into the dining room. French doors to office are on right.
We are SLOWLY getting there. It's alot of work but we can proudly say that so far, we've done it all ourselves.
