V festival 2005: Veterans Essential Guide for Newbies

Thursday, August 19^th

 

Buy and pack all items needed for the best weekend of the year

 

Friday, August 20^th

 

1030 hrs            All meet up at Reddy’s for check in.

1100 hrs            Depart for Weston Park, Staffordshire taking the scenic route

1200 hrs            Cannock Truck Station for a great breakfast.

1300 hrs            Finally get to Weston Park.  Ready for 3 days on the piss

1320 hrs         Getting ready for the 2 mile walk to the camping site.  Wheelbarrow will help this torment

1400 hrs         Stop off at the check in desk to pick up tickets and have a well earned stella

1430 hrs             Get to campsite mark territory, start putting up tents

1530 hrs             All tents up and everything unpacked

1545 hrs              BBQ and food with large (stella), tunes on

1630 hrs             Ste a bit pissed gets his guitar out

 

1730 hrs            Make way to site and purchase poppers

 

Veterans Tips for survival

 

·      Take lots of food and booze coz it’s expensive in the site

·      Keep some booze and food in the car, coz it nearer than the camp site

·      Beware of long hard trek to get to good camping spot

·      Have a big crap before you leave and take diarrhea pills during the weekend
