| The great thing about this hobby is that there is something always new when I step into the bunny barn! | |||||
Entry for March 29, 2007
Just tonight I was thinking about my favorite sounds when I am out with the rabbits. People with cats love the soft purr and people with birds love the chirping but we are left with sounds that aren't quite in the same category. I sure can't say a rabbit squeeling is my favorite sound!!! So I'm left with the other sounds like the licking of the water bottle or the frantic hop back and forth across the front of the cage when they think they are getting fed. I think my favorite sound is after the last rabbit has been fed and all is quiet except for the sound of the rabbits chewing their pellets. Just knowing they are all happy for the night is probably half the reason I enjoy that moment. Tonight I closed my eyes and just listened to them....... 2007-03-30 01:55:16 GMT

I really enjoyed your post and I had an experience like that I just sit in the middle of mine and let them run while I'm cleaning cages they come up and visit and then run away then one by one they are all put back in and fed and everyone is happy!

You are not a fruitloop, many of us rabbit breeders get the same joy when we hear our rabbits eating their dinner. I think it is very relaxing and my heart fills with joy when I sit and listen to them eating. LOL

FYI - V is like my best friend in the whole wide world. She just cracks me up when it comes to her rabbits. She knows I love her and her bunnies.
