The great thing about this hobby is that there is something always new when I step into the bunny barn!
Entry for February 22, 2007

Last night I sold Stoneybrook's CARA. It was a tough decision to make since she was one of the first Mini Rex that my dad and I bought together. I still rember that day back in August of 2004 when I drove over 6 hours to buy 3 rabbits. My friends thought I was nuts. Now it doesn't seem so crazy since I've made similar rabbit buying trips.  i guess we all come to points in the our hobby when we have to part with that rabbit that has been somewhat of a permanent part of the rabbitry. In fact, I know Chris from Minnow Lake Mini Rex made that decision when she parted with "Lizzie" this month. I know how excited I was to get her so I have to think of how excited the new owner of CARA must be too.

Hi Val,
We love Cara and Twisted Tea they are both doing great. They seem to be settling in and are comfortable here. Please know if you would ever like to visit them we are only a few minutes away. You and your family are always welcome to stop in.
Thank you so much, and thank you for your info on the up coming show.
Take care and good luck.
