Things Will Be Different
Things will be different,
Next year,
Without Harv.
You will be missed,
By everyone:
Faculty,
Staff,
And students alike.
So many things will be different,
Next year,
When you will be gone.
No more:
Jayhawk squawk,
Cheers to look forward to at pep assemblies,
Harvey passes,
HHK
Harvey History,
Steamboat lessons,
Chimney sweeps,
And marshmallows and toothbrushes.
So many things,
Will be just plain different:
Mock Trial,
OM,
DI,
Academic Decathlon,
We the People,
Quiz Bowl,
The TAG program,
And the TAG room-
Will we even recognize it?
Next year,
Everything will be so . . . so . . .
DIFFERENT!
What will we do,
Without Harvey here for us,
Whenever we need him.
Next year,
No matter how good the substitute,
That is all that they will be,
To us,
A substitute for Harvey.
What will be do without Harv?
WE WILL MISS YOU HARVEY!!
