	June17th 2007 A short up date on the Family. From Michells note it sounds like they had a good time at the game.. Hello- Scott, Jared, Jenna Shearer and I spent my 40th birthday welcoming the York Revolution back to York!! We had a really good time, Brooks Robinson threw in the first pitch! Jared leaves for Florida on Thursday, I am excited for him-he needs a change of scenery and a break from an over protective mother. I will miss him though, I am not quite sure how to handle not having ANY kids in my house, maybe I will borrow one of my nieces or nephews or my god-daughters. Jenn's friends keep me company as well-they even remembered my birthday! Thanks for thinking of us--Michelle May 29th 2007 Hi Tobie- I will be glad when this month is over! I had surgery, Scott turned 40, and there was not a good way to remember Jenn's birthday other than to go to her grave--yuck! My surgery went fine-Dr. Jeff opened up my ankle, unhinged my foot and popped that bone out. There was no tendon damage and he easily cleaned up the break. Scott and Jenn's birthdays are two days apart, which they both loved---now it sucks. He does not mind turning 40, just that it has to be done without his daughter. The York Sunday News had an article about Red Lion's first Dance-a-thon. They mentioned Jenn in it--what a great honor from those wonderful Red Lion students!! We also got Jenn's year book this past week--there is a page-and-a half spread of Jenn in it---Thank you! Next month I get to turn 40---I mean 36--what am I thinking!!! Jared will be done school on June 8th and then he will take off for Florida to be spoiled by grandma and grandpa. Thank you for checking in on us. Special thanks to the"super seven" who came and sat with me on Jenn's birthday--you all rock!!! May 22, 2007 Saturday was very nice, over $700.00 was raised for the start of the scholarship! Sunday was the softball banquet as well-we donated Jenn's catcher equipment. Today Scott and I went to Jenn's grave and placed flowers-now I think I will hide the rest of the day. My surgery went well-there was no tendon damage. Dr. Jeff just popped that little broken bone out of there. I see him on Wednesday. Thanks for thinking of us-this week has been very difficult. Scott's birthday is on Thursday, we used to think it was cool to have Jenn and Scott's b-days so close, now it just sucks!! love ya--michelle April 27,2007 Last night I received a link to over 50 pictures of the construction of the chapel. Please feel free to view the pictures. These pictures are from Jenn's Aunt Amber. They all look like they were working hard. April 18, 2007 Well after waiting a few days, I e-mailed Michelle. They are home and safe. Michelle also sent pictures. These are small but to see the pictures full view click on the photo link. This will take you to Yahoo photo. Thanks more to come. After a very scary landing in Washington-I am happy to say we are all home safe and sound! I am sending just a few pictures now-more will come. We had a great time, Jared excelled at building, and I hopped around with my boot! The chapel that was built in Jenn's memory will school 80 children that are very excited to be able to even go to school. One picture shows Jared placing the dedication plaque. enjoy and as I said-more pictures will be coming! Thank you to all that sent money and also to those who prayed for us while we were gone. Michelle April 4, 2007 I received E-mail from Michelle. Shane one of Jenn�s Friends donated his hair to Locks of Love. In Memory of Jenn. Three Pictures have been posted on this page. I will have more Information by Late tonight or early Wed. Check Back Soon. April 2nd 2007 Michelle wanted me to start a new page for the Family. So every on can check and see what thay have been up to. I thought it would be good to let everyone know how we are doing, and fill you in on some plans we have. First of all, I broke a bone in my foot-so I get to limp around in an air cast! I will keep the cast for three weeks, and then be re-evaluated on the 18th of April, at that time we will see if I need to have surgery. Second, Jared and I are going with my family to the Dominican Republic to build a chapel in Jenn's memory. I will take pictures to share. The chapel will also be used as a school in a village called Hatillo. We leave April 9 and return on April 16. Thirdly, we will be attending a remembrance ceremony at Hershey on April 21. This will be a difficult day, but a beautiful one as well. Lastly-- on May 19 we will have the Build the Scholarship dinner. Please consider joining us for the activities State side that you can-or make a donation to either the chapel or the scholarship. Even though we have busy days we still struggle with sadness. Jared still goes to school-he is amazing, I don't think I could go to school everyday. I still sub. at the many elementary schools and Scott still builds motorcycles. We miss Jenn.
