RED LAKE
RED LAKE or Miskwaagamiiwizaaga'igamig  in the Ojibwemowin (Language of the people) is the seat of our Tribal Council, hospital, and many governmental offices. Red Lake was once the commercial center of the area rather than its neighboring Bemidji. Today it primarily serves the residents of the Red Lake Nation through a variety of programs. The elected representatives of Red Lake on the Tribal Council are Donald May and Donald Desjarlait. Our Secretary Judy Roy also comes from Red Lake. The community is served by the ALC Program at the Red Lake High School building as follows:

Monday  10:30 am -4:30 pm          Science         Karen Good
                                                    English          Linda Johnson

Wednesday 10:30 am - 4:30 pm      Social Studies   Shelly Fredriksen
                                                     Math               Brenda Hazeman
