| The Americorp Program serves the community and youth through a partnership which offers students the opportunity to have a job making their community a better place to live during their senior year. Upon completion of one year of service the students receive a scholarship of $4,000.00 to help pursue a post secondary school degree. Students also receive training through out the year on various topics like, Heal the Healers, CPR/ Health, Alcohol and Drug Issues, as well as Ojibwe Culture. The following ALC students are participating in the Americorps Program and plan to graduate in May 2006: Joseph Good Jeff Barrett Dawna Whitefeather Sheila Goodteacher We will be adding more information on student assignments and future plans soon.
