| My Children |
| As many of you know, I have quite a few puppies, and I think of my puppies as my children. We recently had a stray kind of show up, but as you may have guessed, he is now part of the family. My four babies are all Chihuahua's, both long haired and shortcoat. The two boys, are around 8 months old. and it seems like just yesterday I was bottle feeding them. Ah...the wonders of growing up. | Lady is my oldest female, and just turned 3 years old. She is the mother of Harley and Freckles, my two little boys. She is the most prim and proper dog you will meet in your life, though she never received obediance training. I had a scare with her in June when the puppies were born, she had more puppies than expected (she had six) and she developed Eclampsia within 3 days of their birth despite the best efforts possible to assure that didnt happen. Eclampsia is a condition with the calcium level in the body of the animal...if it gets too low, it pulls calcium from the bones and usually causes seizure and ultimately death. As you see however, this old girl is still alive, kicking and in good health. |

| Pebbles is my other little girl, and is around 2 years old. She is a very sweet and loving dog. We originally wanted to keep just one dog, however, Pebbles has become a defining part of the family. She is very fragile, weighing only around 3 lbs. John likes to think she's his dog...but she's really both of ours. |

| Harley is one of my two little boys. They are both around 9 months old at the moment. Harley is a licking machine. I think I might be able to get him a damn good job as a dishwasher. :) He is a very fuzzy longhaired chi if you can't tell from the pics. I bottle fed him and his brother from 4 days old til I weaned them. It was definately a task trying to keep all six of Lady's pups alive...but somehow I managed. They all have wonderful homes now. This one however....is MY baby. :) |

| Freckles is the other little boy of Lady's that I kept. He is just like his mother. As you may be able to tell from the pics, he gets anal if you TOUCH his toys. He will wrap himself around them so you can't get them away. He stole my favorite scrunchie. He is a sweetheart and everyone that meets him loves him. The irony is...he believes that he is the *alpha male*. It's hilarious to see him and the other dogs. They just laugh at him. |
