Late 1800's members in neighboring communities decided to form an organized place of worship. 1898 Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church was organized with Rev. James (Jim) Adams as pastor. 1905 A larger edifice was constructed under Rev. Adam's ledership. 1919 Death of Rev. "Jim" Adams. |

1945 Plans were drawn to build a new edifice. Rev. J.W. Wiley passed. |

1970 Plans were made for an annex to the back of the building. The building was declared unsafe due to structural damage while digging the foundation of the annex. Groundbreaking services were held for a new edifice.
1971
The building was dedicated to God and the first service was held in the new structure.
1974
The church debt was paid off.
1975
Mortgage burning ceremony was held.
1976
Plans were made to complete the basement into a Fellowship Hall. Vacation Bible School was offered for the first time with Sis. Mary H. Graves as director.
1978 The Fellowship Hall was completed - it included a kitchen and seating for about one hundred and fifty (150) people.
1979 Fellowship Hall renovations debt was paid off. Rev. Kirby introduced to the body his plans in the pastoral concept of"Back to God". This included the following channels: through Prayer and Bible Study, Tithes and Offerings, Family Altar, Mission Duty, and Faithfulness to God, ourselves, home, state, and world. The Kitchen Committee was formed to prepare food for church activities.
1980
The church Central Treasure was established. The Gospel Chorus became an auxiliary of the church. There was the inception of the second worship service in each month. (second and fourth Sundays.)
1981 The building was air conditioned.
1984 The driveways and parking lot were paved.
1985 The debt for paving was paid off.
1986 Easter Sunrise Service was first held with the Young Adult Missionaries in charge of preparing the breakfast.
1989 Worship services went from twice a month to every Sunday.
1990 Rev.Kirby resigns because of ill-health.
April 1990 Rev. Dr. E.L. Kirby passes.
April 1990 to August 1991 Rev. T.R. Siddle acted as interim pastor.
August 1991 Rev. G. L. Hopkins elected as pastor and was installed the fourth Sunday of October.
1992 The Pastor's Aid, The Male Chorus, and Nurse's Ministry became auxiliaries. The Sunshine Band was organized. The Junior/Young Adult Choir was revived by Sis. Tammie Hopkins.There was an addition of two bathrooms and sidewalks were added. Sis. Eunice Kirby, wife of our former pastor, Rev. E.L. Kirby, resigned as pianist for the Chancel Choir.
1993 Plans were made for more renovations.
1994 The Building Committee was formed. Our pledge campaign began for the renovations.
1995 Plans were finalized for the renovations.
1996 First Church Directory compiled by Sis. Jo Ann Covington, Recording Secretary.
Renovations started.
1997 Renovations were completed. The color scheme changed from red to teal. We entered into the completed edifice in September
Deacons Sherman Pickard, Leroy Harrelson, and Walter Brown, Sr. were installed.
1998 Formal/semi-formal banquet held in August at Caswell County Civic Center, to celebrate the 100th Church Anniversary.
Updated church membership compiled by Sis. Jo Ann Covington, Recording Secretary.
1999 Alarm system installed. First edition of the Red Hill Review bi-monthly newsletter published by the Recording Secretary, Sis. Jo Ann Covington.
2000 Video library: videotapes of services and special events compiled by the Recording Secretary, Sis. Jo Ann Covington for members to check out.
First "Outstanding Service Awards" under Rev. Hopkin's leadership. These included: Deacons James Walker, Jr., John Henderson, Leroy Harrelson, Deacon Emeritus, Dwight Blackwell, Trustees, Willie Apple, Wilbur Stephens, and Sterling Blackwell, Sisters, Mary Graves, Juanita Smith, and Pearl Wright.

2001 Updated Church Directory compiled by Sis. Jo Ann Covington, Recording Secretary.
2002 April - Ordination of Deacons Robert Weatherford, Larry Pickard, McCoy Harrelson.
June - Adoption of the Bereavement Guide Designed by the Recording Secretary. Purpose: to inform members of the church procedures during the death of a loved one.
August 104th Church Anniversary banquet at the Civic Center.
Renovations debt was paid for. Mortgage burning held.
September-Inception of the Senior Citizens Group as an auxiliary. First President - Sis. Earlee Yancey, Vice President - Sis. Sadie Badgett
October By-Laws Committee met for the first time.
2003 February The third Sunday in each month was designated as Senior Citizen's Sunday.
MarchThe Senior Citizens celebrated its first third Sunday with a program during morning worship service followed by a banquet.
Addition of Thursday morning Prayer/Meeting/Bible Study at 10:00 a.m.
2004 May Appreciation Service was held during regular Homecoming. Honored members were: Sis Hattie Brown, Bro. Lamont Cannon, Bro. Archie Henderson, Bro. James Ellis Henderson.
Sis. Elmer Page and Bro. Robert Stanback were alson honored as the oldest female and male members.
The By-laws/Church Constitution was completed and will be presented to the body during several fouth Saturday sessions.
