Attkayet'a says to Nyoko'a, "I had all 4 wisdom out at once and didn't use the pain killers after. Didn't even swell. Hell, I cut off part of my finger on christmas this year and glued it back on cuz I didn't want to go to the emergency room on christmas."

Vermithrax dives out of the sky, and just as you think he will crash, he unfolds his wings and lands softly beside you.

Tyviel'a says, "The requirements to stage from draco to drake are 1) one year real time minimum on the draco."
Tyviel'a says, "Meaning the character must be one year old."
Tyviel'a says, "2) A set number of hours on the character itself. We don't reveal the exact number of hours, but it averages between 1 and 3 hours a day for a year. And it needs to be somewhat consistent."
Tyviel'a says, "No cramming all the time in the last 3 months, for example."
Kelstar says, "question"

Gwen comforts Kelstar.
Tyviel'a says, "3) A Chosen relationship. There are many ways to define that, if you are unsure, ask in a bit."
Tyviel'a says, "4) An attempt at establishing a personality of the character. In other words, scripting all day in the merc yards isn't going to cut it. You don't have to RP all day, but there needs to be some effort in it."

Kelstar says, "cant it be a set 3 days a week or something"
Tyviel'a says, "That is perfectly fine. What it cannot be is everyday in the last 3 months of a year into a character."
Tyviel'a says, "I was giving the average of the time required, in hours, over that entire year."
Kelstar nods.
Tyviel'a asks Kelstar, "that clear it up?"

Tyviel'a says, "Secians are not easy to play. Not at all. However, they have some pretty strict guidelines to stick to, as detailed in the manual."
Tyviel'a says, "From time to time (and some of you wish more often), I have to step in to have a talk with some of those stepping outside those boundaries."
Tyviel'a says, "One of the growing trends is Secians slapping people. Secians don't slap people. No way around that. It needs to stop before it grows into a trend, and then accepted into the game itself."
Aeslyn raises an eyebrow.
Tyviel'a says, "Not accusing any one of you, let's just get it stopped now."
Mirabelle whispers, "woot!!"
Thara says, "question"
Tyviel'a says to Thara, "go ahead."
Thara asks, "what about pouncing or tackle? when i read how its stated when we type it, we bounce off, what if we mean it in a friendly way?"

Tyviel'a asks, "If you were that character, would you pounce or tackle someone? I really think not. I think people have just seen it over and over, and take it as a greeting it is so accepted at this point."

Tyviel'a says to Thara, "my opinion is generally, you would not tackle or pounce many people. Though I agree against most, the effect would be very very little."
Thara says, "when i think of pounce i think of the cat pouncing on someone in a playful manner and licking them"

Tyviel'a asks, "I've seen some drakes RP as having horns or a frill, do they?"
Tyviel'a says, "Somewhat, but nothing like what a large dragon would have."
Tyviel'a says, "Ornamental would be the word I would use."
Tyviel'a asks, "Are their wings always on their back or do they become part of their arm like you see in the movies when they stage to 3rd?"
Tyviel'a says, "Their wing structure is seperate."
Tyviel'a says, "Wyverns have the fused bone structures."

Tyviel'a asks, "how exactly does a drake learn Secian when they stage?"

Tyviel'a says, "It is part of the Bonding process. Much more than that...I will leave up to you. Yes, you can decide to learn it slowly if you wish. There have been at least two Bondmates that didn't get the language up front, and RPed learning it."

Tyviel'a says, "Someone asked about a runeshop being placed into the southern dragon lair. There are many reasons for it not being done, but one of them is mechanical in nature. A runeshop is a runeshop, no matter where it is."
Tyviel'a says, "I could not remove the dragon specific runes in the runeshops across the world, and just place them in the lair one, for example."
Tyviel'a asks, "Ok, that is all I have via email. Kiki, who is up?"

Tyviel'a says, "There is nothing easy about the relationship between the two races. I suspect it was set up this way on purpose. It is more rewarding when it does work out, and it adds drama and conflict to the game."

Tyviel'a says, "I really don't find problems with rifts growing. I sometimes get emails about this scenario causing it to grow, or that event making it worse, but it is up to you each to cultivate the relationships."

Maiz says, "I have doubts about dragons dragging secians around hunting beasts that are not undead."
Tyviel'a asks, "Is there a question there, or a comment?"
Maiz says, "But it seems to be accepted so I have tried to accept it"

Tyviel'a asks, "Is it acceptable for Secians to accompany parties into non-undead hunting areas?"

Tyviel'a says, "Perfectly acceptable. A Secian is going to go where their Bondmate is, most of the time. Secians are not naive creatures, they know hunting is going to occur, and know their friends, Bondmates, or loved ones will come to harm."
Maiz nods.
Tyviel'a says, "They can choose to NOT go, but they certainly CAN go as well."
Twilight, with a thoughtful yet playful demeaner, just entered through an open wooden door.

Tyviel'a says, "As long as they are not harming the creatures, naturally."
Jyrayel says, "my secians thoughts are if it attacks I will be there to heal my dragon"

Maiz says, "Now that brings up the next part."
Thara asks, "so they can go just to heal the dragons?"
Riani furrows her brow.
Gwen nods to Thara.
Maiz says, "I take the reasoning for this is due to the bond that dragons and secians have."
Aeslyn says, "I would leave it up to the comfort level the secian feels going on such hunts"

Tyviel'a says, "IF the Secian was close friends, and chose to accompany a group into a fight, any fight, that is a valid choice."

Maiz says, "Neh, I think that covers it. A secian can be friendly with any race and can chose to heal or not heal as they like."
Maiz says, "If their RP motivates such"
Tyviel'a says, "That is making it very black and white on the healing issue."
Tyviel'a says, "It is rarely ever that clear cut."
Tyviel'a says, "Friendly, yes."
