Vaile says, "Alright gang, keep it down, I don't want Tasem to have to come and throw people out."Vaile says, "Unless folks really want me to, I think we're going to skip the lecture part of the meeting, since we did this once before, and go to the second part which is questions and answers."
Vaile asks, "Is that alright? Or would you prefer I repeat myself from last time?"
Weldoian says, "Aw..."
Weldoian says, "But I like lectures."
Livana asks, "Maybe you could go over the things that have changed, from the manual?"
Litorth says to Vaile, "Repition is good it helps ingrane things."
Audun says, "Besides, some of us weren't around last time."
Vaile nods.
Vaile says, "I'll try and add a bit too, sure."
Rhita says to Vaile, "thank you"
Vaile says, "The way this works, for those who have never come to one of the meetings before, we is we have a little informal lecture session where basically I talk, and then after that we have a Q&A session for you to ask your RP questions."
Vaile says, "During the lecture part, i'd ask everyone keep quiet so others can listen, you'll have all the chance in the world to talk alot after i'm done. (except for Sweetie)"
Vaile exclaims, "Right then, the topic of the day, Secians!"
Vaile says, "Secians are by far and away the smallest major race in the world, measuring in somewhere in the general region of a foot tall or so."
Vaile says, "Secians are always orderly (for what that's worth in our world), NEVER lie, and never knowingly injure others (with the rare exceptions of Muatana-al's)"
Vaile says, "There is a common misconception that Secians will not fight with others, and this isn't really the case, Secians are well reputed in the past to use some spells in a conflict to prevent a larger one."
Vaile says, "They simply won't ever HARM another living creature (sentient being), that does not prevent them from preventing them from harming others."
Vaile says, "At one point in history, Secians were of the Frontacian race, but when the Frontacians of Penthania unleashed the unmagick they were transformed into the "innocent, orderly types" the race has become now."
Vaile says, "They lost the gems in their forehead and palms, and since Secians seek out and try and find gems of any kind they can get their hands on, mainly to help comfort themselves."
Vaile says, "Along with the changes in the unmagick, Dragons, who previously were something of a different race then what we consider Dragons today, were changed as well. Their lives progressed through stages, and they required help from Secians to live through them"
Vaile says, "Previously, this was not the case, as Dragons simply matured from eggs to grow into the massive creatures of lore, the unmagick created some sort of powerful magick bond between the races that forced the Dragons to rely on the Secians to grow."
Vaile says, "Furthermore, the two races are inexplicably drawn together by the same force following the unmagick, to the point it is often uncommon to see a Dragon of a large number of years of life without a Secian."
Vaile says, "In turn, the Secians became somewhat dependent on Dragons as well, though unknowingly for the most part, for protection and safety in a world that doesn't share their same anti-violence views."
Vaile says, "Secians and Dragons were magically bonded with the Dragons, and both races care tremendously for one another, to the point they will go out of their way to do anything they can for one of the other race. Why the unmagick created this bond..."
Vaile says, "No one knows."
Vaile says, "Secians will always try and help others, and are for the most part the ultimate form of order in the world, something of the anti-chaos. They are empathetic in their ways, feeling pain from those around them when they feel pain as well."
Vaile says, "As with all peoples, Secians *can and do* choose to deal with this pain sometimes rather than prevent it if they feel they must, healing a mass murderer in the process of killing hundreds is hardly a Secian like act for example."
Vaile says, "Because of the natural magick within them (some claim a tiny part of the unmagick was retained within their bodies, as the opposite occured with the Arachnians) Secians can only follow professions capable of channeling the natural energy of a God or" Vaile says, "the world into their spells."
Vaile says, "(Though on a side note- We'd still argue Secians have no place being hand or sword clerics, and if someday the chance arises, we would like to change that)"
Vaile says, "Secians originate from the city-state of Secia, which is now a vast wasteland part of the huge expanses of the Great Wastes, north of the Great Divide."
Vaile says, "What was once a thriving part of the Frontacian empire stands only in ruins now, laid totally to waste by the awesome powers of the unmagick. The vast wastelands are home to the Arachnian race, who build massive web holds deep into the ground of the "
Vaile says, "blasted earth of the wastes."
Vaile says, "Following the unmagick, the race spread out to a new Isle of Secia, which became their new homeland. As well many of them simply wandered off into the wastes, on some sort of calling (The change in the Dragons and Secians)."
Vaile says, "Sadly, many of the Secian race met their end in the wanderings in the waste at the hands of the newly created Arachnians, whose hate for all at the time was perhaps as great as it has ever been in history."
Vaile says, "A few of the older Secians took it upon themselves to investigate the lands of the north following the unmagick, though short of a few records kept in the cities where they traveled to, the records kept by the Secians themselves have long been lost."
Vaile says, "What secrets those records might hold to the keys of the secrets of the unmagick have been, in the mind of most scholars, forever lost in the vast expanses of the great wastes."
Vaile says, "Since the day the race was formed, Secians have been cherished around the world by all as some of the most dedicated clerics in all the land, and the most helpful group of people one will ever find."
Vaile says, "Though the races kind and giving nature often leads to harassment and heckling at the hands of a few of the worlds more chaotic races, who find joy in the Secians lack of ability to respond physically."
Vaile says, "Though it times past, it was not uncommon to see large parties of citizens seek out and deal with those who might harass a Secian unfairly, the race is thought of so highly by almost all others."
Vaile says, "That's really aboot all I have for the lecture part i'd say, I tried to add a bit more from last time to modernize the story of the Secians a bit."
Vaile says, "This brings us to the next part of the meeting, which is the question and answer session..."
Vaile says, "What i'll ask for questions is if you have one at ANY point during the evening, just whisper to me to get your name added to the list."
Vaile says, "We'll go down the list one at a time, and while input from anyone on a question is appreciated, i'd ask we all try and respect the person who is speaking as well and let them get their point across."
Vaile says, "So if you have a question, and would like to get on the list, just whisper over to me now, or any other point during the meeting."
Vaile says, "Anyone who whispered before I said now isn't on it, just a heads up."
Vaile winks.
Vaile says, "Don't feel shy to whisper later too if you think of one."
Vaile says to Sweetie, "You're first, start us off."
Sweetie says to Vaile, "Ok."
Sweetie says to Vaile, "We all know the whole, "God forbid if Secians attack the living and cause them harm." Is it acceptable Roleplay for them to try to immobile them with vines/webs spells if say... A crazed psycian is dragging them all around threatening to kill."
Sweetie asks, "Them?"
Sweetie coughs.
Vaile nods to Sweetie.
Vaile says, "Nothing wrong with that all."
Sweetie shouts at Weldoian, "Well I'm bloody sorry, I was eatting dinner!"
Vaile says, "Harm doesn't mean you can't make them run off in terror from a fear spell, or confuse them, or bind them, or what have you."
Weldoian says to Sweetie, "Just givin' you a bad time."
Zydrigeon says, "not that there are any such pscians around...."
Sweetie says to Zydrigeon, "Are so. :P"
Sweetie says to Vaile, "Thank you."
Vaile nods. Vaile asks Weldoian, "Question?"
Sweetie says, "Now I can't tell them they're going to be gobbied."
Sweetie sobs.
Weldoian exclaims to Vaile, "Several!"
Weldoian says, "But uhm..."
Weldoian foams.
Weldoian shrieks.
Weldoian says, "Anyways."
Weldoian says, "I've got some questions from someone who couldn't make it tonight."
Weldoian asks, "So, for posterity's sake, and because I wanna lengthen the log I've got going, can I ask them?" Vaile says, "By all means"
Weldoian nods.
Weldoian says, "Okay..."
Weldoian asks, "Is it true that secians are only "support" characters who should not be leaders, involved in temples or cities? Do these "political" secians frustrate and annoy the heck out of elders?"
Maggie says, "Corgae is the one who told me that"
Weldoian says to Maggie, "Well, let's see what the bigshots say."
Weldoian winks.
Siara says, "Secians are regular characters just like anyone else."
Vaile asks, "Well, i'm not really sure any race should be painted in the corner and labled a "support" character, combat wise i'd say Secians are probably good in the support department, but as for politics and religion, why not?"
Weldoian nods.
Weldoian asks, "Can I continue down the list, or must I raise my hand again?"
Weldoian says, "or whisper or whatever."
Vaile says, "I'd say everyone annoys the heck out of us, so Secians are safe there too. But really, just because a Secian is heading a temple or a group doesn't mean there can't be conflict."
Weldoian smiles.
Vaile says to Weldoian, "Go ahead and go down the list."
Weldoian exclaims, "Kay!"
Weldoian asks, "Is it true that secians who reproach someone who attacks them, other secians, dragons, other temple brethren, or some hapless victim is out of character because they are "hurting" the meanie's feelings?"
Vaile says to Weldoian, "Err, no, not really." Weldoian nods.
Weldoian squints.
Siara says, "I think Secians would be careful not to use cruel words though."
Weldoian asks, "Is that your final answer?"
Weldoian grins.
Vaile says, "Secians can be annoyed, they can have bad days, they can be upset with people, they aren't glowing happy bunches of fun fun sugar."
Siara says, "Not sure if that difference is clear."
Siara says, "You know how words can be mean... gossip and the like."
Mebok says, "Secians can be annoying too."
Weldoian nods to Siara.
Weldoian asks, "Ready for the next one?"
Syai says, "secians can be very very mean to"
Vaile says, "Generally it's a happy race, but living in Spur isn't exactly going to make you glow and sparkle."
Siara says, "But Secians can point out when people are wrong so to speak."
Slep'infir'a asks Weldoian, "do you mean if Starlyn were to tell me Sweetie killed her, would that be "against the rules", because Sweetie might be killed in return?"
Siara says to Vaile, "Right Secians don't have to be stupidly happy."
Kento says, "I sparkle all the time"
Vaile nods up and down.
Kento bats his eyes at Vaile.
Tzion'a nods up and down to Siara.
Siara says, "But they are happy most of the time."
Sweetie exclaims to Siara, "Thank God!"
Tzion'a says, "Stupidly happy..."
Tzion'a wrinkles his nose.
Starlyn asks, "Wouldn't that more depend on the intent?"
Weldoian says to Slep'infir'a, "I think it means...if Sweetie killed Starlyn and Starlyn told Sweetie that she would have nothing to do with her ever again because she killed her."
Vaile says, "Honestly, it's one of the most intelligent races in the world, very top tier, the idea they are too stupid to realize when someone is about to smoosh them, or is trying to play with their head is insane."
Siara nods to Vaile.
Sweetie says, "Sweetie would so not kill Starlyn."
Livana says, "Secians aren't stupid"
Tzion'a nods to Vaile.
Slep'infir'a says to Weldoian, "hm, ok, I understand what you are asking more."
Sweetie says, "Even if she goes psycho on her. :P She can't anyway. God forbid those level 5 blunts."
Weldoian says, "But again, these aren't my questions, so I'm interpreting them as best as I can."
Vaile says, "If I was out to manipulate someone, personally, i'd find a Thugian or an Oog-ra, Secian's shouldn't be a very good choice."
Vaile says, "Guys, cut the needless chatter please."
Slep'infir'a says to Sweetie, "just an example my dear, I know you lub us."
Vaile nods to Weldoian.
Weldoian says, "Whenever you're ready for the next one."
Weldoian smiles.
Weldoian nods.
Weldoian squints.
Weldoian asks, "Is it good Secian rp to be openly hostile and uncooperative with other secians in IC posts or in the game environment? Calling one another liars, etc.? "
Weldoian says, "I know the answer to that one, but hey. Posterity's a funny thing."
Weldoian winks.
Siara says, "Secians shouldn't be hostile but they can disagree."
Alwin asks Weldoian, "whatcha mean by "hostile"?"
Siara says, "And no secian should ever call another a liar."
Mebok says to Alwin, "pull out a knife and shank another one"
Siara says, "Since they don't lie."
Vaile asks, "Secians don't lie, why would you call one a liar?"
Sweetie exclaims, "They so do!"
Tzion'a says, "hurting someones feelings for the sake of hurting their feelings is a no no"
Syai says, "they do lie"
Sweetie says, "Shutting up, now."
Kento says, "secians don't lie..but humans do."
Siara nods to Kento.
Railt says, "Gobbies do too"
Vaile says, "Because OOC we know the Human behind them can doesn't mean a Secian EVER EVER EVER will."
Siara says, "ICly no one should ever think a Secian could lie."
Vaile asks, "Even bad guys picking on them calling them liars seems stupid to me, why would you bother? That'd be like trying to convince a toad it's a duck."
Siara says, "It's just a known fact they don't."
Vaile nods up and down to Siara.
Maggie asks, "so how do you respond to it?"
Syai says, "mine liked to lie"
Livana asks, "Ignore it?"
Vaile pinches Syai.
Zydrigeon says, "i wouldn't. like it didn't happen"
Weldoian says to Maggie, "You snort and roll your eyes."
Weldoian winks to Maggie.
Maggie says, "I don't snort"
Vaile says, "If you see a lie, treat it like it's not."
Vaile shrugs.
Maggie says, "they've been about me"
Weldoian exclaims to Maggie, "Ah! But you know you wanna be a piggy like Weldo!"
Weldoian says, "And me, even."
Vaile says, "Or just totally ignore it if you feel it's simply an OOC person sneaking into their character."
Attkayet says, "Or you could behave as if you believed they were misinformed, not lying on purpose"
Maggie asks, "does that mena I have to play the part I'm accused of playing?"
Livana says to Maggie, "I try to act like the Secian is mistaken or misinformed."
Maggie says to Weldoian, "or senile"
Weldoian exclaims to Maggie, "We'll be gettin' to that soon enough!"
Attkayet says, "yep, them old farters..."
Vaile says, "Hell, let us know if you feel someone is out to get you like that, the important part is, don't stop and call them a liar, all the IC'ness and RP goes out the window right there for both people."
Stanrar says to Maggie, "Alarians don't count"
Stanrar leans on Weldoian.
Weldoian asks Vaile, "Ready for the next one? Oh..."
Attkayet says, "entering their dotage"
Siara nods to Vaile.
Mebok asks Vaile, "how about Fibber?"
Vaile says, "And i've seen plenty of cases where a Secian has been accused of lying when someone simply didn't recall an event correctly, or they didn't hear all of a story."
Maggie nods.
Vaile says, "Simply because someone is wrong doesn't mean they are lying, if that were the case, we'd all be in real trouble."
Attkayet says to Vaile, "we ARE all in real trouble"
Vaile says, "Well, there is that, especially Litorth."
Weldoian says, "I think that a solution to that is a Secian saying, well, I heard this from someone, or I don't entirely remember everything."
Sweetie says, "Oh."
Vaile nods to Weldoian.
Mebok asks Weldoian, "gossing secians?"
Vaile asks Weldoian, "Got any more?"
Weldoian raises an eyebrow at Mebok.
Weldoian exclaims, "Yes!"
Sweetie nods to Vaile.
Weldoian says, "One more."
Mebok says, "gossiping"
Weldoian smiles.
Vaile nods.
Weldoian says, "For now."
Vaile says, "By all means."
Weldoian asks, "Is it true that Secians who change their minds are bad rpers because they are liars?"
Weldoian says, "Again, I know the answer, but hey."
Vaile says, "No."
Siara asks, "Change their minds?"
Weldoian nods.
Livana asks, "Opinions on things you mean?"
Siara asks, "How would that be lying anyway?"
Zydrigeon asks, "say one thing, later change thier views ..thus contradicting themselves?"
Weldoian asks, "Like...if Weldo says he's gonna go buy a book, and instead buys a quill, is that wrong?"
Siara says, "No."
Attkayet asks Weldoian, "who have YOU been hanging around?"
Weldoian says, "or, I say I won't go to the Taathian temple, and then do."
Weldoian says to Attkayet, "Crazy people."
Siara says, "Well"
Vaile says, "We change our minds all the time, hell, me more than anyone, i'd hope that doesn't make me a liar, just a very confused person who is easily influenced"
Weldoian cackles.
Livana says to Weldoian, "As long as your intent at the time you said it was to buy a book.."
Attkayet asks, "really?"
Weldoian nods to Livana.
Weldoian says to Attkayet, "Yes."
Vaile asks Weldoian, "That it for ya?"
Tzion'a mumbles maybe influenced by beer.
Weldoian says to Vaile, "Well, no. But I'll give other people a chance."
Grayse giggles.
Morjin says, "I'd like to hear a bit more clarification on that last question"
Sweetie glances.
Livana nods to Weldoian.
Morjin asks, "If you say you won't go into the Taathian temple, can you later change your mind?"
Weldoian nods to Morjin.
Morjin asks, "What if you promise not to?"
Mahtina says, "Or emjedah."
Weldoian says, "That would be different."
Audun says, "If you believe you're telling the truth when you say something, then it isn't a lie, regardless of what you do later."
Morjin asks, "Can secians break promises?"
Vaile says, "Hrm, well.."
Morjin asks, "And what's the difference between SAYING you won't do something, and PROMISING you won't?"
Weldoian says, "Yeah, I've had a problem with that too."
Vaile asks Morjin, "In real life, if you say you're not going to buy an orange crayon, and go do so instead of the red you had in mind, do you think you lied?"
Livana says, "It depends on if you said it to decieve or if you changed your mind"
Vaile nods up and down to Livana.
Vaile says, "It's a grey area, as I see it, and as long as you're going at it with the best intentions and honestly aren't trying to lie, I really can't see how it can be a lie."
Vaile says, "Unless you're a pathalogical liar, lying requires some sort of cognatic reasoning behind it that you're going to do so. If that thought process isn't there, you're not lying, don't sweat it."
Morjin says, "Let me make an example, let's say you're imprisoned in Emejdah, and they let you out on the condition you agree not to ever return. Then a few weeks later your bond gets imprisoned there."
Vaile says, "Other players may run around and say, "oh no Eddy the Secian is a liar" behind your back, but you know what, they'll probably do that anyway."
Vaile chuckles.
Mahtina says, "When possessed of the correct knowledge, you give deliberate misinformation, aka, lie."
Tzion'a asks, "Eddy the Secian?"
Vaile chuckles.
Weldoian says, "Oh, how I was I can do that sometimes as Weldo."
Weldoian sighs.
Vaile says to Morjin, "Honestly, I'd say if you give your word, you're not going to go back on it."
Morjin nods.
Mahtina asks Vaile, "Even in his scenerio?"
Vaile says, "Short of being forced into Emjedah against your will, you just couldn't go back, your very nature would prevent it."
Audun asks, "So Secians can't ever break their promises?"
Verbaniah says, "just dont make the promise in the first place"
Vaile says, "Well, your Dragon being there might force you there against your will"
Slep'infir'a nods to Vaile.
Fawnna says, "I'd say be very sure you don't make a promise you can't keep."
Tzion'a says, "The Bond makes one do strange things"
Vaile says to Audun, "Secians aren't stupid, i'd argue they probably wouldn't make a promise they couldn't keep, and if they didn't, it would be for such extreme reasons it shouldn't come into question."
Vaile says, "Like Odarians, it's that whole Orderly thing."
Audun says, "I'd think that if your intent was to never return when they freed you from Emjedah, you'd be OK, even if circumstances forced you to return there later."
Vaile nods to Audun.
Audun says, "Though you wouldn't go against a promise lightly."
Livana says, "Phew that's a sticky one"
Vaile says, "If you told them, i'm never coming back, and then run out the door and come right back and giggle, you're gonna be taking a swim in Elgan's toilet bowl."
Zydrigeon says, "so..don't bond to callik and you'll all be okay on the emjedah thing"
Stanrar says, "Better for the Secian to kill the Emjedan so they don't have to give the promise"
Vaile nods up and down to Zydrigeon.
Morjin asks, "One last sticky area, what happens if you make two promises that conflict with each other?"
Kento asks Stanrar, "hey..when did you get here?"
Vaile chuckles.
Livana says to Morjin, "Your head explodes"
Vaile says to Morjin, "Do what your character would do."
Weldoian says to Kento, "Long time ago, blindie."
Livana says to Morjin, "Like I said..."
Livana cackles.
Mebok says to Morjin, "Call Shaft."
Vaile says, "We can't describe out every possible scenario and its resolution, alot of RP'ing is making these choices yourself "
Cerulean says, "Take the road that causes the least pain for others, prolly."
Vaile says to Cerulean, "The Utalitarianistic approach."
Vaile chuckles.
Audun says, "Find a way to weasel your way out of one of the promises."
Cerulean says, "Wait, I'm working that big word out"
Alwin says, "take an ethics class for utilitarian philosophy"
Vaile nods up and down.
Vaile says to Maggie, "You're up."
Maggie says, "I've seen and heard od secians slapping, kicking and punching people."
Maggie asks, "to me this is causing harm, is that the same thing?"
Vaile says, "I don't see why not."
Vaile punches Mahtina lightly with a little love tap.
Vaile says, "I don't think that is hurting anyone"
Vaile says, "But..."
Weldoian says, "Not like I've ever slapped anyone as Weldo..."
Weldoian glances.
Weldoian shuffles his feet.
Mahtina mutters and rubs her arm.
Vaile punches Mahtina to the mooooon ALICE.
Vaile says, "That's not good."
Livana waves at Mahtina.
Mahtina squeals.
Maggie asks, "so because the mechanics dn't cause harm, iot's ok?"
Vaile bows and catches Mahtina in a basket catch Willie Mays style.
Weldoian says to Maggie, "Depends on the intent behind it."
Zydrigeon says, "it's in the perception of the reciever/giver..not the ones watching i'd think"
Weldoian says to Maggie, "If it's meant jokingly, then I'd say no."
Audun says, "The question would be whether the intent was to cause hurt."
Vaile winks at Mahtina.
Vaile says to Maggie, "If you're harming someone on purpose, not good."
Maggie says, "I don't mean jokingly"
Maggie nods.
Siara says, "Right I think it's intent"
Vaile says, "If they see a message that says, "You take 1 damage" or not, it's still harming them."
Maggie nods.
Maggie says, "thanks, another one"
Fawnna says to Maggie, "There's a bunch of laws against it now too, so since we don't break laws, that's a no-no I guess."
Mebok asks Vaile, "what if it's a game of pin the tail on the donkey?"
Maggie says, "when you mentioned not healing a mass murderer"
Mebok asks, "and the secian sticks a thugian in the arse with the pin?"
Morjin says to Fawnna, "We can break laws if it's for good cause"
Maggie asks, "would that be the same if the murderer were a dragon?"
Weldoian says to Maggie, "Steal my question."
Vaile says to Maggie, "Absolutely."
Livana says, "The lesser of two evils"
Maggie nods.
Vaile says to Maggie, "UNLESS, and this is a big unless, it's your bondmate. That's a subject i'm not sure I want to touch, but your chosen on down, if the Dragon is slaughtering hundreds for no good reason you're probably not going to want anything to do with em anyway"
Maggie nods.
Maggie says, "I don't see Karon ever doing that, but who knows"
Maggie smiles.
Audun asks, "If it's your bond, you run away screaming?"
Vaile says, "Your bondmate, well, that's half you, i'd say that's a do what your character would response."
Mebok says to Maggie, "you could of been Galen's chosen."
Grayse says, "i wouldnt think much of a dragon that would put a secian in such a position"
Maggie nods to Grayse.
Mahtina says, "I think the secian would snap, or go insain at the very least"
Sweetie says, "Worms are evil. They're all male in disguises. Murdering meanies. :P"
Grayse exclaims to Sweetie, "i'm not male!"
Alwin asks, "Is there someone logging this and putting it somewhere viewable?"
Weldoian says, "I am."
Maggie asks, "any chance of hands becoming choices secians ca't make?"
Weldoian says, "Unedited though. I'm lazy."
Sweetie says, "I'm logging, too."
Vaile says to Mebok, "Alright newt, you have the floor."
Mebok asks Slep'infir'a, "see? Power."
Mebok asks, "Ok, Do gobbies come from Secians?"
Mebok says, "in the start"
Mebok says, "CREATION wise"
Mebok coughs.
Weldoian asks, "Are all gobbies Secians before creation, ye mean?"
Mebok asks, "And do Secians, as a race gossip?"
Mebok asks, "and my 3rd question is What percent of the SGC staff is Secian?"
Clawntaka asks, "i think he's asking.. was the gobbie race created from gobbified secians?"
Mebok says, "AGC"
Mebok coughs.
Vaile says, "Gobbies from Secians, no."
Starlyn asks, "Ummm... no, no, none?"
Starlyn mutters something beneath her breath.
Slep'infir'a says to Mebok, "grow up."
Weldoian says, "That'd be interesting if they were..."
Mebok says, "i'm 1 foot tall"
Livana says to Starlyn, "Secians DO gossip about what color dragons gonna stage"
Vaile says, "I'm sure Secians chat and gossip in a friendly manner, but probably not negatively about others if they can help it, and especially not with lies."
Vaile exclaims to Yorlan, "You have the floor!"
Yorlan fidgets.
Yorlan says, "Well, most of my questions have been answered, but I have one.."
Yorlan says, "You mentioned that Secians are very intelligent."
Yorlan says, "And in the manual, it states that Secians will rush to the aid of a Dragon."
Yorlan asks, "But, what if the Dragon insults, claws, etc, at your Secian. Your Secian will keep on aiding it?"
Vaile says, "The manual is a little...archaic, that's a definite no."
Yorlan says to Vaile, "Alright. That's all for now. Weldo took all my questions."
Yorlan says, "Thanks."
Vaile says, "Self preservation and continuation is the driving force behind all life. =)"
Vaile exclaims to Livana, "You're up!"
Livana says to Vaile, "That leads on perfectly to my questions"
Livana says to Vaile, "Do secians get angry and do they feel fear (for themselves)"
Vaile says, "I don't see why not."
Livana nods.
Livana says, "I seem to remeber the old dusty manual saying something about them not fearing harm... like so and so says "I'll cut yer wings off"
Vaile says, "I'm the toughest guy in the world, but i'm still scared of Barbara Streisand."
Vaile ducks.
Sweetie says to Vaile, "Uh huh, Mr. Guzzle the four."
Zydrigeon says, "as well you should be."
Vaile shakes his head from side to side at Livana.
Livana nods.
Attkayet exclaims to Vaile, "with good reason!"
Livana says, "One more little one kinda off the beaten path"
Vaile says to Livana, "If anyone is close to fearless, it's probably Flerian."
Livana asks Vaile, "When you were going over the history it popped into my head, are there any Dragons left from before the great change? Or is that a "can't answer"
Vaile says to Livana, "Entirely possible."
Livana nods.
Starlyn nods up and down to Stanrar.
Vaile asks Livana, "Anything else?"
Livana shakes her head from side to side.
Vaile nods.
Attkayet says, "I would think that a dragon who was bonded to a secian would have a harder time maurading and being the classic dragon everyone thinks of"
Vaile says to Attkayet, "There Secian may not have lived long enough to see them off."
Attkayet says to Vaile, "I thought it was assumed the secian lived the life of the dragon, usually"
Vaile says to Attkayet, "You know what they say about assumptions."
Vaile winks.
Slep'infir'a says, "It certainly has presented that way in the past."
Morjin says, "That was answered in some other meeting, bonded Secians get a big boost to lifespan, but it's still nowhere near as long as a Dragon's."
Vaile says, "One most wonder what an Imperial's bondmate would do when the Dragon sleeps for 300 years."
Mahtina says to Attkayet, "Not to say the dragon didn't eat his bond"
Grayse asks Slep'infir'a, "that secians do or dont live as long as dragons?"
Slep'infir'a asks Grayse, "do. Thiarin'a's Bondmate, for example was supposedly still alive. But relatively, how ancient is he?"
Slep'infir'a shrugs.
Vaile says, "In this vast world, there are no givens in anything, bondmates on up."
Attkayet nods.
Litorth asks, "A secian would live long enough to see his/her Dragon through all three stagings though as a general rule?"
Attkayet says, "Just asking because honestly, that was actually specifically said in a very ooold meeting long ago"
Vaile says, "Some Dragons don't make it past first stage, i'm sure some Secians don't live to see there Dragon get past that stage either."
Vaile nods to Litorth.
Morjin says to Litorth, "One would hope"
Starlyn says to Litorth, "I was told that there is no way a Secian could live long enough to stage a dragon all the way from draco to Imperial."
Weldoian says, "Weldo is the only Secian who'll live longer than his Bond."
Weldoian winks.
Zydrigeon says, "probly why the OLD dragons sleep so much....being awake probly reminds them of the secian that's missing."
Sweetie says to Weldoian, "Ferro's."
Cieran says to Vaile, "quilt."
Grayse says, "but in actual mechanics...there is no death from old age..."
Weldoian says to Sweetie, "Uhm...not mine."
Morjin says to Grayse, "In actual mechanics the game will probably not last long enough for anyone to die of old age"
Vaile says, "From my understanding of it, and granted Guntharra's isn't here to bail us out, the Secians life is raised when they bond with the Dragon, as they more or less share half of the Dragons life."
Weldoian says, "Except for Weldo."
Attkayet says, "oh, well, alright. that answers that question. it came up recently"
Vaile nods.
Vaile says to Morjin, "You have the floor."
Fawnna asks Vaile, "Does that mean our mechanical age isn't what our real age would be then?"
Vaile nods up and down to Fawnna.
Vaile says, "I hope so, else noble is a rough life."
Mahtina says to Fawnna, "we only look twenty"
Morjin asks, "What is the basis of the Secian's inability to lie? And is it intent to decieve that matters?"
Fawnna asks Mahtina, "Twenty? I'm fifty!"
Weldoian says to Morjin, "Yes to the latter."
Vaile says, "The intent"
Vaile nods.
Audun ponders that.
Vaile nods to Audun.
Audun asks, "If a Secian knows that the truth would be hurtful to someone, they couldn't tell a little white lie?"
Weldoian says to Audun, "They just wanted answer."
Weldoian coughs.
Weldoian says, "Wouldn't, rather."
Vaile says, "Nothing wrong with refusing to tell someone something."
Vaile says, "They wouldn't lie, little white or not."
Mahtina asks, "Can I add on to that?"
Vaile nods to Mahtina.
Audun says, "Sometimes refusing an answer can be pretty much the same as telling the truth, which may be hurtful."
Morjin asks, "How evasive can a Secian be in refusing to answer? Say you don't want to outright refuse to tell the mean Arachnian where the draco is hiding."
Vaile says, "Nothing wrong with being evasive either."
Vaile says, "I think the Draco is wandering around some place."
Geriant says, "The draco is hiding behind a tree somewhere."
Vaile says, "He might have gone to the Rose Eternal for a beer, or maybe he just fell asleep"
Vaile exclaims, "I'm not tellin!"
Vaile stomps.
Morjin says, "Let's use an example I've used before - say a Draco is hiding in TSC and you know it"
Morjin says, "And someone asks you where they are, could you say "Last I saw them they headed west"
Vaile nods to you.
Vaile says, "If the last you saw them was going west, sure."
Mahtina says, "Or say a temple asks you to withhold all information, but someone outright asks you a direct question about it."
Maggie asks, "how about, I haven't seen him for a while?"
Audun asks, "Even if the intent is to outright deceive?"
Tzion'a asks, "Why do you even have to respond?"
Livana says to Maggie, "that's a good one" Vaile says to Audun, "You didn't lie, you just didn't tell them what they wanted to hear."
Tzion'a says, "Ask them why they want to know"
Mahtina says to Tzion'a, "That's what I'm asking"
Tzion'a says, "Ask them if they saw him and where"
Morjin says to Vaile, "Oka, that answers that question for me."
Yorlan asks Vaile, "What if you didn't "see" reenter TSC by stealthing, but they whisper to you, "Hey, I'm here." You still say, "Yeah, he went west"?"
Tzion'a says, "no lying"
Saberus says to Mahtina, "You don't have to answer the question nor are you obligated to answer it."
Vaile says, "Really, you can just refuse to answer, the rest is kind of moot from there."
Tzion'a says, "not"
Audun says, "Ignore the question, yes."
You see Saberus reach out and touch Sweetie.
Vaile grins to Geriant.
Morjin says, "Second question"
Siara says to Geriant, "That's cute."
Vaile says, "Geriant had a good one, tell the truth in Secian so the Arachnian can't understand it."
Geriant says to Siara, "I know, I'm devious."
Kento says, "I like that"
Audun says, "I'd still think that a deliberate intent to deceive is pretty darn close to being a flat-out lie, even if the words are technically true."
Kento asks Geriant, "Hey are you a secian too?"
Livana says, "Thats a good one"
Geriant says to Kento, "No, I'd have to tell the truth."
Attkayet says to Audun, "then you can play it that way...it is open to interpretation to a point, I'd say anyhow"
Vaile asks Morjin, "Next question?"
Vaile nods to Attkayet.
Livana says to Audun, "It gets really sticky. Are you deceiving to keep someone from being hurt, or to cause someone hurt"
Morjin asks, "A big amount of the violence and pain Morjin witnesses is caused by dragons, how would a Secian react to that? Dragons seem to cause more violence and fighting than Arachnians sometimes."
Vaile says to Morjin, "Do what your character would do."
Vaile winks.
Livana exclaims to Morjin, "Ka-boom!"
Morjin nods.
Fawnna says to Morjin, "Try bonding to a blue."
Fawnna sticks her tongue out.
Morjin says, "Okay, that's it"
Mahtina says to Morjin, "Just lecture them for an hour, it works with Rich."
Maggie says to Mahtina, "he falls asleep"
Vaile says to Clawntaka, "You have the floor."
Morjin says, "Morjin will probably never bond"
Morjin chuckles.
Slep'infir'a says, "Most dragons do not try to change secians, likewise with the secians changing the dragons. Comes with the territory."
Slep'infir'a shrugs.
Mahtina says to Slep'infir'a, "Doesn't mean a secian can't impart knowledge onto such dragon about all the pain they cause"
Clawntaka says, "My question deals with the definition of sentient. I read the answer from the last RP meeting..."
Vaile nods.
Slep'infir'a says, "And it doesn't mean that dragon will not still do the same thing. We are rather selfish critters."
Slep'infir'a says, "Overly."
Clawntaka says, "That undead, magical constructs, and demons, and such aren't sentient."
Fawnna says to Mahtina, "It's a give and take thing"
Kento says to Clawntaka, "some believe magickal as still being sentinent"
Clawntaka says, "But the manual says that the definition of Sentient is open to inerpretation."
Vaile says, "Hmm, demons actually are alive, i'm a little iffy on that."
Kento says to Clawntaka, "it depends on who you are.."
Clawntaka says, "Hmm.."
Weldoian says to Clawntaka, "You're not sentient, I'll attack you next time."
Maggie says, "demons are made of chaos"
Geriant says, "Demons are just extra-planar beings."
Kento says, "One would argue that if it thinks logically and is "alive" it's sentinent"
Livana says to Maggie, "So are san elves"
Htang says, "so they arent evil just unpredictable"
Starlyn asks, "Sentient technically means something that feels pain, doesn't it?"
Clawntaka says, "See.. my definition of Sentient, as a human player, would be... something that uses reason."
Geriant shakes his head from side to side to Starlyn.
Vaile says to Clawntaka, "A general good rule of thumb is if it's dead, if someone else created it with magick, it's yours to mess with."
Clawntaka nods to Vaile.
Grayse says, "sentient means self-aware"
Kento says to Vaile, "that's what I go by"
Morjin asks Vaile, "Does that mean Secians shouldn't be hurting demons?"
Vaile says, "I wouldn't highly suggest it, they are living breathing creatures."
Kento asks, "really?"
Kento ponders the meaning of the universe for a moment.
Htang says, "We don't say hurt we say "release"."
Kento asks, "Couldn't you argue that though?"
Vaile says, "While they may come from another dimension, they still bleed when ya smack em."
Weldoian says, "Demons can't be released..."
Vaile nods to Kento.
Grayse asks, "aren't demons undead?"
Morjin says, "I thought they were personifications of chaos and evil"
Clawntaka says to Grayse, "No."
Geriant says to Vaile, "Undead bleed too though."
Vaile says, "Demons are quite alive."
Audun says, "Unless demons are such horrible things that killing them would actually be tolerable, akin to that mass murderer situation."
Clawntaka says to Grayse, "Can't be turned."
Kento says, "ahh ok..."
Maggie says to Weldoian, "neither can scarecrows"
Vaile exclaims to Geriant, "They shouldn't!"
Vaile grins.
Weldoian says to Maggie, "But some magick created scarecrows."
Weldoian says to Maggie, "Not the same with demons."
Grayse says, "scarecrows have no brains though"
Slep'infir'a says, "Demons have long been hunting by secian and dragon groups. Not that that makes it right..."
Mahtina says to Geriant, "That always bothered me"
Morjin asks, "Secians can harm Muats, right?" Slep'infir'a scratches his chin.
Geriant says, "Demons are just extraplanar beings formed from chaos. There really is no 'evil' or 'good' in them."
Kento says, "And if they only had a brain"
Weldoian nods to you.
Weldoian exclaims, "And insult them too!"
Weldoian exclaims, "I get great fun doing that!"
Weldoian cackles.
Morjin asks, "Aren't demons as 'bad' as Muats?"
Verbaniah says, "lets all go hunt us some muats"
Vaile says, "Some of it's grey areas where it's up to you to decide."
Mahtina asks Vaile, "What about going in a group?"
Vaile says, "Shadows, like Demons, come from another realm of existence, I really see no reason you can't justify they aren't natural."
Geriant says, "A muatana-al is a living, breathing being. Some secians would argue you shouldn't harm them either."
Clawntaka says, "Shadows are turnable.."
Vaile says, "Yes, but some might argue they are sentient"
Vaile shrugs.
Cieran says, "look guys, and this is just me, but you PROBably won't find too many demons in attendance at teh Spurian Rotary Club Luncheon. I REALLY think its ok for Secians to hunt em"
Vaile says, "That's for you to decide, the very clear things you shouldn't be messing with, don't."
Clawntaka nods to Vaile.
Maggie says, "sentient means having the ability to perceive"
Geriant says, "Turnable isn't really a good thing to judge by, it's just a mechanic flag really. Gargoyles are turnable, but they are sentient."
Clawntaka says, "I thought gargoyles were made by magick.."
Clawntaka murmurs something beneath his breath.
Mahtina says, "By the exact definition sentient means anything that can hold a rational thought, though I never applied that to dgate"
Maggie asks, "secians can't hunt gargoyles?"
Zuril says, "I would argue that any extra-planor beings cannot be really harmed, except on their native plane..."
Livana asks, "you can TURN gargoyles?"
Weldoian asks Maggie, "Rational thought? Here? Absurd!"
Verbaniah says, "they used to be unturnable, and it was also a grey area for hunting"
Slep'infir'a says, "There are plenty plenty of grey areas. Insects are another that come up often in discussion."
Zydrigeon says, "i would see sentient as the things that talk when they leave rooms...take a mugger into a pb room...it will talk...etc."
Clawntaka nods to Slep'infir'a.
Maggie says, "I'll never be strong enough to hunt more than skeletons anyway"
Vaile says, "Obviously we have ID'd some grey areas, i'd encourage you to make the choice for yourself, because obviously even we can't agree on it."
Weldoian says to Zydrigeon, "That would skeletons are sentient."
Clawntaka nods to Vaile.
Weldoian says, "'Cuz I've seen some voicy skeletons."
Zydrigeon says, "never seen one talk..."
Mahtina grins at Vaile.
Cieran says, "and orks"
Kento says, "I have"
Clawntaka says, "That's my only question."
Clawntaka smiles.
Vaile nods.
Kento says, "and I am not senile either"
Weldoian says to Zydrigeon, "They've told me to go kiss guardians."
Geriant says, "I've always viewed sentient beings as those that can reproduce and have offspring. Undead and constructs can't."
Vaile asks Sweetie, "Another question?"
Starlyn says to Kento, "You might be"
Kento says, "They told me they were getting dizzy from bolting em"
Sweetie says, "Oh."
Sweetie says, "Yes."
Sweetie says, "It was um.."
Sweetie says, "It was about the lying, I think."
Sweetie ponders the meaning of the universe for a moment.
Sweetie says to Vaile, "And they're lying if someone asks and they don't tell the truth, Omission. Gotta love rehab. :P"
Vaile scratches.
Vaile says to Sweetie, "I'll let you gather your thoughts."
Weldoian asks, "You mean...if someone asks a question, and the Secian only answers some of it, and omits some of the rest?"
Sweetie exclaims to Vaile, "I don't remember my question. Sorry. And there's three kind of lies! Blunt, Omission, and to yourself."
Vaile nods.
Vaile exclaims to Weldoian, "You're up!"
Weldoian says, "'Bout time."
Sweetie says to Weldoian, "No. Like, if I ask you where you were. You say at a party, but you don't mention at the party was your girlfriend and her drugs.."
Weldoian squints.
Aeron glances.
Slep'infir'a says, "If it would cause harm, a secian does not have to answer anything. Even if they just think it might."
Slep'infir'a shrugs.
Weldoian says to Sweetie, "I don't see how that's a lie. You didn't ask who I was with or what I was doing."
Weldoian says, "Anyhow,."
Slep'infir'a says, "So no ommission there."
Sweetie shrugs.
Vaile says, "We don't need to argue the semantics of it."
Weldoian says, "I've got...three, so, I'll just ask them all and be done with it."
Weldoian says, "Okay, now, while we're on the topic of lying, going back to a Secian breaking it's word..."
Weldoian says, "Say, a Secian makes a promise not to tell anyone of the existence of something, and then, later, it's revealed that that something could endanger the lives of others if they didn't know about it."
Weldoian asks, "Would it be wrong for a Secian to break it's word to tell people about the dangerous something?"
Vaile says to Weldoian, "Do what your character would do."
Livana exclaims, "I'd sing like a canary, baby!"
Geriant asks, "Does your secian think it would be wrong?"
Kento asks Vaile, "Your speaking to weldo. Remember?"
Weldoian says to Geriant, "Well, in my case, Weldo didn't like doing it, but he felt it better for the common good."
Weldoian says, "Okay..."
Maggie says to Weldoian, "and was criticised for it"
Weldoian nods to Maggie.
Vaile shrugs.
Rhita says, "you got info that gave you a choice between two evils...you decided the lesser of the two."
Weldoian says, "Just making sure I didn't do anything wrong."
Vaile says, "You're still here now and the people who complained likely have wandered off to some other obsession, problem solved"
Weldoian says, "Well, maybe."
Weldoian says, "Anyhow, next question."
Weldoian says, "Uhm...along the lines of the mass murdering comment."
Weldoian says, "Now, Alya is sick, and could die. Weldo's been asked to help her. But, she helped kill that Imperial."
Weldoian asks, "Is it bad for Weldo to decline to help Alya?"
Vaile says to Weldoian, "Do what your character would do."
Weldoian ponders the meaning of the universe for a moment.
Audun chuckles softly.
Attkayet exclaims, "Vaile...the master of evasion!"
Audun murmurs He likes that answer.
Weldoian says, "Well, see, in Weldo's case, it's a conflict between Saian interests and Secian nature."
Weldoian says, "So..."
Weldoian shrugs.
Vaile says, "I just don't want to tell you how to play."
Weldoian says, "Anyhow...my last question..."
Vaile says to Weldoian, "That's for Weldo to decide, not you or I"
Weldoian nods to Vaile.
Weldoian says, "Now, I know Secians are supposed to happy, most of the time, and whatnot."
Geriant says, "We're not here to tell you how to play your characters when you run up against a certain set of circumstances, if we did that there's no room for RP and we're all just automatons."
(Litorth is actualy a series of triggers and scripts. The player is long gone.)
Weldoian asks, "What I'm wondering is, is it acceptable to have a Secian change from exposure to Spur? For instance, when Weldo came here, he was all happy-go-lucky and babyish, i.e. his accent."
Weldoian says, "Yet over the years, he's become what he is today."
Weldoian asks, "Is that acceptable?"
Tzion'a asks, "bitter?"
Kento asks Tzion'a, "old?"
Weldoian grins to Tzion'a.
Fawnna says to Weldoian, "Heaven help us if Weldo if the future of all secians."
Weldoian says, "Well, however you'd describe him."
Maggie says, "that's why I left Spur after less than a week"
Vaile says, "Don't see why not, Weldo has been here forever."
Attkayet asks, "a curmedeon?"
Htang says, "long winded..."
Audun asks, "People change in real life, why not in game?"
Kento says, "So WELDO IS older than time"
Weldoian rolls his eyes at Vaile.
Vaile grins.
Vaile comforts Weldoian.
Vaile says, "Seriously, like Audun said, people change, so do Secians."
Weldoian nods.
Weldoian says, "Okay, that's what I thought, but, I just wanted to make sure."
Attkayet says, "Secians are people too."
Zydrigeon says, "probly still quicker to smile than others would be..but don't have to be bubbly forever"
Weldoian asks, "Weldo? Bubbly?"
Weldoian ponders the meaning of the universe for a moment.
Vaile asks Zydrigeon, "Question?"
Zydrigeon asks, "not sure this is appropriate to this discussion, but do secians actively search out a dragon to be chosen with? or are they supposd to be the passive ones while dragons search?"
Starlyn grins.
Starlyn says, "It's kinda like dating."
Starlyn says, "Minus the... sex"
Geriant says, "I don't think either is passive."
Weldoian says, "I'm passive at it, others aren't. I think it's just...what your character would do."
Vaile says to Zydrigeon, "Probably depends on the Secian and the Dragon."
Litorth says, "Kirrra took the iniative with Lit."
Livana says to Starlyn, "and the one night stands"
Starlyn nods.
Zydrigeon says, "okay."
Maggie says, "I've seen some with enter and exit messages advertising that they're looking for a chosen"
Geriant says to Livana, "Yeah, they took all the fun out of it."
Vaile says, "Personally, i'd hog-tie my Dragon until they gave up and decided to bond to me."
Weldoian says to Maggie, "That'd be kinda lame...not like anyone would KNOW IC that the character is looking."
Geriant says, "No more secian/dragon nut/bolt nights at the Rose."
Audun says, "As in dating, desperation is never attractive."
Slep'infir'a chuckles at Geriant.
Livana says to Weldoian, "I treat it like they're wearing a sandwich board sign"
Vaile asks Zydrigeon, "Anything else?"
Weldoian says to Livana, "That's how I used to envision it."
Zydrigeon says, "nopers. thanks"
Vaile says to Litorth, "Apparently we have to let you talk, so, I guess, it's your turn."
Verbaniah asks, "can we start running personals? su-cs seeking su-cd?"
Litorth exclaims, "WOOT!"
Weldoian says to Verbaniah, "We've had them before, kinda.."
Weldoian says, "The whole Chosen/Bond list."
Geriant says to Verbaniah, "I hear Leyara is dying to run a secian/dragon singles issue."
Litorth says, "I don't have a specific question. More I am looking to get a range of feelings on the relationship between Dragons and Secians both bond/chosens and in general."
Vaile says, "Think of your chosen as your best friend, who you'd really not want to leave behind when you go somewhere, and someone who just makes everything more fun to have around."
Vaile says, "Think of your bondmate as you."
Tzion'a asks, "sexy, goodlooking and intelligent?"
Zydrigeon says, "when you have a neat idea..the first thing you do is look around to tell them..that sort of thing"
Maggie says to Tzion'a, "thank you"
Weldoian asks Tzion'a, "Which half would that be?"
Kento says, "Hey Platinum I saw this great new area full of creatures that could rip us to shreads...lets go"
Vaile asks Litorth, "Without being too specific, was that specific enough?"
Attkayet says to Weldoian, "the other, obviously"
Htang says, "though I would argue if any good ideas should be described as "neat"
Litorth says to Vaile, "Well I noticed you kind of skipped it in your over view. Also was interested in the races together without the Bond/Chosen thing. Like I have had a Secian say to Lit how did you fit through that door, which I kind of found odd."
Vaile says to Litorth, "Figure doors in Spur need to be made to fit Oog-ra's, you'll probably fit too."
Kento says, "I dunno..I mean i've seen dragons fit in the secian tree"
Slep'infir'a inhales and makes himself really skinny...and long.
Kento says, "And I often wonder if that tree isn't gonna explode"
Livana says, "It was hilarious when Tzion'a went in that cottage"
Attkayet says to Slep'infir'a, "then you'd be a worm"
Vaile says, "Well, the Secian tree shouldn't let them in, but in most places, it's not a big deal."
Kento says to Vaile, "It does"
Tzion'a says, "I ducked"
Tzion'a sniffles.
Kento says to Vaile, "Not to say it's a bad thing"
Kento smiles.
Vaile nods.
Zydrigeon says, "tis a very nice cottage...when i finally found it."
Weldoian says to Tzion'a, "And squeezed yourself to fit through the frame of the door."
Zydrigeon grins at Geriant.
Kento chuckles at Zydrigeon.
Tzion'a says, "I'm magic"
Livana says to Tzion'a, "Just picturing this huge Imperial all hunched over and scrunched up..."
Vaile asks, "Was there any other questions from anyone?"
Livana nods to Vaile.
Mahtina asks Vaile, "We have all heard the bond goes above all other feelings, is it ok still to refure to ones bond as a sister or brother?"
Vaile says to Mahtina, "Don't see why not."
Fawnna says to Mahtina, "Glinka and Lunaris used to call each other "sister"
Vaile nods to Livana.
Kento says, "I still love that"
Mahtina says to Fawnna, "Syren used to call me that"
Zydrigeon says, "could refer to your bond and yourself in the "royal plural" "we did this" or "we think this is wrong" etc"
Verbaniah says, "we killed some taathians today"
Livana says, "About Muatana-al... I know Secians CAN hurt them, but it seems so very out of character (for lack of a better term) for them to
react that when when they are so non-violent" Vaile says, "Up to you"
Livana asks, "Wouldn't they be more inclined to avoid Muats entirely? Or is it the viewpoint of ridding the world of a huge evil"
Grayse says, "there aren't too many around "
Zydrigeon asks, "ever seen a psycian walk near fronties? pacifism goes away quickly sometimes."
Geriant says, "We are Bond. Resistance is futile."
Vaile says, "I had a Secian try beating up poor Maloveous once, most just mutter at him, neither was worse than the other."
Siara grins at Geriant.
Livana says, "I think my question is would a Secian feel obligated to try and rub out a stinky Muat"
Zydrigeon says to Geriant, "now you sound like vosk"
Slep'infir'a exclaims, "Just don't heal em! or you get mange. Or something."
Geriant says to Livana, "Muatana-al aren't a huge evil really. Just some of the best known bad guys are ebil muatana-als."
Vaile says to Livana, "Some might, others nope, just depends on the Secian."
Livana nods to Geriant.
Livana nods to Vaile.
Weldoian says, "Muats need to die."
Vaile says, "Hell, some Muats follow Rinanni"
Vaile chuckles.
Vaile says, "Wonders never cease."
Livana says, "Just because they can, doesnt mean they will."
Livana nods.
Livana says, "Oh"
Livana babbles to Vaile.
Litorth says, "I want to follow Odarous."
Vaile exclaims to Weldoian, "You get the last question of the night!"
Starlyn asks Rhita, "Up for a Merlin hunt?" Weldoian cackles.
Mahtina says to Rhita, "They just make Mahtina sick for days on end being around one for more than five seconds"
Weldoian says, "Okay, going back to the Bond thing..."
Kento asks, "merlin never existed..doncha all know that?"
Mahtina says to Starlyn, "Then we take over spur."
Kento says, "He is a fairy tale"
Weldoian asks, "How long do you think is appropriate for one half of the Bond to wait before re-Bonding?"
Livana says, "and must you wear black"
Weldoian says, "'Cuz Bizzy's been gone for a long time, now, and I'm always afraid to make a committment to another Dragon, in case it's not been long enough."
Vaile says to Weldoian, "If never was an amount of time, i'd say that, but in this world where the real world occasionaly rears its ugly head, i'd say it's somewhat up to you."
Kento says to Weldoian, "We all see that..your bonded to Kagee now..."
Audun says, "Hmm... I've heard it said that grieving lasts half as long as the relationship did."
Vaile says, "I will say, playing musical bondmates can lead to us playing a tiny violin for someone when they complain they haven't staged yet."
Tzion'a whistles.
Attkayet says to Kento, "she's MY san. not his"
Starlyn says to Kento, "Well I suppose that's as likely as him finding a diamond drake"
Maggie asks, "does that mean that it is still possible for a dragon to stafge to third if hiw or her original bind is gone?"
Weldoian says to Starlyn, "You'll see."
Slep'infir'a says, "Technically...all the old Bonds are gone. Though keeping Bizzy in mind is certainly fine."
Siara nods to Maggie.
Weldoian exclaims, "Weldo will have his Rainbow Dragon!"
Kento says to Attkayet, "you should divide her into two equal parts then"
Vaile says to Maggie, "Happened before, i'm sure it'll happen again."
Slep'infir'a says, "See Atty and Tula, etc etc."
Attkayet says to Kento, "all mine."
Vaile says to Weldoian, "That cover it"
Vaile asks, "?"
Maggie says, "he told me it would never happen"
Weldoian nods to Vaile.
Weldoian says, "Yep."
Litorth says, "I would quit before rebonding. But thats just my thing, and hopefully it'll never be an issue."
Attkayet says, "Well, yeah. My bond from aol wasn't coming here, so I had to start over again with Tula. To be frank, its a much better rp relationship"
Vaile exclaims, "Alright gang, thanks a ton for coming! If you wander across any other questions you forgot to ask just email them on over to one of us and we'll letcha know what we think."
Starlyn says, "I don't even remember how long after Rollie left that Starlyn staged Slep. But that was back on AOL..."
Slep'infir'a says to Attkayet, "obviously."
Litorth asks Vaile, "Do you love me?"
Vaile says, "Remember you Secians, it's not what other people think about you, it's what you think of yourself."
Vaile winks.
