SECIAN ROLEPLAY MEETING #2

Vaile says, "Alright gang, keep it down, I don't want Tasem to have to come and throw people out."

Vaile says, "Unless folks really want me to, I think we're going to skip the lecture part of the meeting, since we did this once before, and go to the second part which is questions and answers."

Vaile asks, "Is that alright? Or would you prefer I repeat myself from last time?"

Weldoian says, "Aw..."

Weldoian says, "But I like lectures."

Livana asks, "Maybe you could go over the things that have changed, from the manual?"

Litorth says to Vaile, "Repition is good it helps ingrane things."

Audun says, "Besides, some of us weren't around last time."

Vaile nods.

Vaile says, "I'll try and add a bit too, sure."

Rhita says to Vaile, "thank you"

Vaile says, "The way this works, for those who have never come to one of the meetings before, we is we have a little informal lecture session where basically I talk, and then after that we have a Q&A session for you to ask your RP questions."

Vaile says, "During the lecture part, i'd ask everyone keep quiet so others can listen, you'll have all the chance in the world to talk alot after i'm done. (except for Sweetie)"

Vaile exclaims, "Right then, the topic of the day, Secians!"

Vaile says, "Secians are by far and away the smallest major race in the world, measuring in somewhere in the general region of a foot tall or so."

Vaile says, "Secians are always orderly (for what that's worth in our world), NEVER lie, and never knowingly injure others (with the rare exceptions of Muatana-al's)"

Vaile says, "There is a common misconception that Secians will not fight with others, and this isn't really the case, Secians are well reputed in the past to use some spells in a conflict to prevent a larger one."

Vaile says, "They simply won't ever HARM another living creature (sentient being), that does not prevent them from preventing them from harming others."

Vaile says, "At one point in history, Secians were of the Frontacian race, but when the Frontacians of Penthania unleashed the unmagick they were transformed into the "innocent, orderly types" the race has become now."

Vaile says, "They lost the gems in their forehead and palms, and since Secians seek out and try and find gems of any kind they can get their hands on, mainly to help comfort themselves."

Vaile says, "Along with the changes in the unmagick, Dragons, who previously were something of a different race then what we consider Dragons today, were changed as well. Their lives progressed through stages, and they required help from Secians to live through them"

Vaile says, "Previously, this was not the case, as Dragons simply matured from eggs to grow into the massive creatures of lore, the unmagick created some sort of powerful magick bond between the races that forced the Dragons to rely on the Secians to grow."

Vaile says, "Furthermore, the two races are inexplicably drawn together by the same force following the unmagick, to the point it is often uncommon to see a Dragon of a large number of years of life without a Secian."

Vaile says, "In turn, the Secians became somewhat dependent on Dragons as well, though unknowingly for the most part, for protection and safety in a world that doesn't share their same anti-violence views."

Vaile says, "Secians and Dragons were magically bonded with the Dragons, and both races care tremendously for one another, to the point they will go out of their way to do anything they can for one of the other race. Why the unmagick created this bond..."

Vaile says, "No one knows."

Vaile says, "Secians will always try and help others, and are for the most part the ultimate form of order in the world, something of the anti-chaos. They are empathetic in their ways, feeling pain from those around them when they feel pain as well."

Vaile says, "As with all peoples, Secians *can and do* choose to deal with this pain sometimes rather than prevent it if they feel they must, healing a mass murderer in the process of killing hundreds is hardly a Secian like act for example."

Vaile says, "Because of the natural magick within them (some claim a tiny part of the unmagick was retained within their bodies, as the opposite occured with the Arachnians) Secians can only follow professions capable of channeling the natural energy of a God or" Vaile says, "the world into their spells."

Vaile says, "(Though on a side note- We'd still argue Secians have no place being hand or sword clerics, and if someday the chance arises, we would like to change that)"

Vaile says, "Secians originate from the city-state of Secia, which is now a vast wasteland part of the huge expanses of the Great Wastes, north of the Great Divide."

Vaile says, "What was once a thriving part of the Frontacian empire stands only in ruins now, laid totally to waste by the awesome powers of the unmagick. The vast wastelands are home to the Arachnian race, who build massive web holds deep into the ground of the "

Vaile says, "blasted earth of the wastes."

Vaile says, "Following the unmagick, the race spread out to a new Isle of Secia, which became their new homeland. As well many of them simply wandered off into the wastes, on some sort of calling (The change in the Dragons and Secians)."

Vaile says, "Sadly, many of the Secian race met their end in the wanderings in the waste at the hands of the newly created Arachnians, whose hate for all at the time was perhaps as great as it has ever been in history."

Vaile says, "A few of the older Secians took it upon themselves to investigate the lands of the north following the unmagick, though short of a few records kept in the cities where they traveled to, the records kept by the Secians themselves have long been lost."

Vaile says, "What secrets those records might hold to the keys of the secrets of the unmagick have been, in the mind of most scholars, forever lost in the vast expanses of the great wastes."

Vaile says, "Since the day the race was formed, Secians have been cherished around the world by all as some of the most dedicated clerics in all the land, and the most helpful group of people one will ever find."

Vaile says, "Though the races kind and giving nature often leads to harassment and heckling at the hands of a few of the worlds more chaotic races, who find joy in the Secians lack of ability to respond physically."

Vaile says, "Though it times past, it was not uncommon to see large parties of citizens seek out and deal with those who might harass a Secian unfairly, the race is thought of so highly by almost all others."

Vaile says, "That's really aboot all I have for the lecture part i'd say, I tried to add a bit more from last time to modernize the story of the Secians a bit."

Vaile says, "This brings us to the next part of the meeting, which is the question and answer session..."

Vaile says, "What i'll ask for questions is if you have one at ANY point during the evening, just whisper to me to get your name added to the list."

Vaile says, "We'll go down the list one at a time, and while input from anyone on a question is appreciated, i'd ask we all try and respect the person who is speaking as well and let them get their point across."

Vaile says, "So if you have a question, and would like to get on the list, just whisper over to me now, or any other point during the meeting."

Vaile says, "Anyone who whispered before I said now isn't on it, just a heads up."

Vaile winks.

Vaile says, "Don't feel shy to whisper later too if you think of one."

Vaile says to Sweetie, "You're first, start us off."

Sweetie says to Vaile, "Ok."

Sweetie says to Vaile, "We all know the whole, "God forbid if Secians attack the living and cause them harm." Is it acceptable Roleplay for them to try to immobile them with vines/webs spells if say... A crazed psycian is dragging them all around threatening to kill."

Sweetie asks, "Them?"

Sweetie coughs.

Vaile nods to Sweetie.

Vaile says, "Nothing wrong with that all."

Sweetie shouts at Weldoian, "Well I'm bloody sorry, I was eatting dinner!"

Vaile says, "Harm doesn't mean you can't make them run off in terror from a fear spell, or confuse them, or bind them, or what have you."

Weldoian says to Sweetie, "Just givin' you a bad time."

Zydrigeon says, "not that there are any such pscians around...."

Sweetie says to Zydrigeon, "Are so. :P"

Sweetie says to Vaile, "Thank you."

Vaile nods. Vaile asks Weldoian, "Question?"

Sweetie says, "Now I can't tell them they're going to be gobbied."

Sweetie sobs.

Weldoian exclaims to Vaile, "Several!"

Weldoian says, "But uhm..."

Weldoian foams.

Weldoian shrieks.

Weldoian says, "Anyways."

Weldoian says, "I've got some questions from someone who couldn't make it tonight."

Weldoian asks, "So, for posterity's sake, and because I wanna lengthen the log I've got going, can I ask them?" Vaile says, "By all means"

Weldoian nods.

Weldoian says, "Okay..."

Weldoian asks, "Is it true that secians are only "support" characters who should not be leaders, involved in temples or cities? Do these "political" secians frustrate and annoy the heck out of elders?"

Maggie says, "Corgae is the one who told me that"

Weldoian says to Maggie, "Well, let's see what the bigshots say."

Weldoian winks.

Siara says, "Secians are regular characters just like anyone else."

Vaile asks, "Well, i'm not really sure any race should be painted in the corner and labled a "support" character, combat wise i'd say Secians are probably good in the support department, but as for politics and religion, why not?"

Weldoian nods.

Weldoian asks, "Can I continue down the list, or must I raise my hand again?"

Weldoian says, "or whisper or whatever."

Vaile says, "I'd say everyone annoys the heck out of us, so Secians are safe there too. But really, just because a Secian is heading a temple or a group doesn't mean there can't be conflict."

Weldoian smiles.

Vaile says to Weldoian, "Go ahead and go down the list."

Weldoian exclaims, "Kay!"

Weldoian asks, "Is it true that secians who reproach someone who attacks them, other secians, dragons, other temple brethren, or some hapless victim is out of character because they are "hurting" the meanie's feelings?"

Vaile says to Weldoian, "Err, no, not really." Weldoian nods.

Weldoian squints.

Siara says, "I think Secians would be careful not to use cruel words though."

Weldoian asks, "Is that your final answer?"

Weldoian grins.

Vaile says, "Secians can be annoyed, they can have bad days, they can be upset with people, they aren't glowing happy bunches of fun fun sugar."

Siara says, "Not sure if that difference is clear."

Siara says, "You know how words can be mean... gossip and the like."

Mebok says, "Secians can be annoying too."

Weldoian nods to Siara.

Weldoian asks, "Ready for the next one?"

Syai says, "secians can be very very mean to"

Vaile says, "Generally it's a happy race, but living in Spur isn't exactly going to make you glow and sparkle."

Siara says, "But Secians can point out when people are wrong so to speak."

Slep'infir'a asks Weldoian, "do you mean if Starlyn were to tell me Sweetie killed her, would that be "against the rules", because Sweetie might be killed in return?"

Siara says to Vaile, "Right Secians don't have to be stupidly happy."

Kento says, "I sparkle all the time"

Vaile nods up and down.

Kento bats his eyes at Vaile.

Tzion'a nods up and down to Siara.

Siara says, "But they are happy most of the time."

Sweetie exclaims to Siara, "Thank God!"

Tzion'a says, "Stupidly happy..."

Tzion'a wrinkles his nose.

Starlyn asks, "Wouldn't that more depend on the intent?"

Weldoian says to Slep'infir'a, "I think it means...if Sweetie killed Starlyn and Starlyn told Sweetie that she would have nothing to do with her ever again because she killed her."

Vaile says, "Honestly, it's one of the most intelligent races in the world, very top tier, the idea they are too stupid to realize when someone is about to smoosh them, or is trying to play with their head is insane."

Siara nods to Vaile.

Sweetie says, "Sweetie would so not kill Starlyn."

Livana says, "Secians aren't stupid"

Tzion'a nods to Vaile.

Slep'infir'a says to Weldoian, "hm, ok, I understand what you are asking more."

Sweetie says, "Even if she goes psycho on her. :P She can't anyway. God forbid those level 5 blunts."

Weldoian says, "But again, these aren't my questions, so I'm interpreting them as best as I can."

Vaile says, "If I was out to manipulate someone, personally, i'd find a Thugian or an Oog-ra, Secian's shouldn't be a very good choice."

Vaile says, "Guys, cut the needless chatter please."

Slep'infir'a says to Sweetie, "just an example my dear, I know you lub us."

Vaile nods to Weldoian.

Weldoian says, "Whenever you're ready for the next one."

Weldoian smiles.

Weldoian nods.

Weldoian squints.

Weldoian asks, "Is it good Secian rp to be openly hostile and uncooperative with other secians in IC posts or in the game environment? Calling one another liars, etc.? "

Weldoian says, "I know the answer to that one, but hey. Posterity's a funny thing."

Weldoian winks.

Siara says, "Secians shouldn't be hostile but they can disagree."

Alwin asks Weldoian, "whatcha mean by "hostile"?"

Siara says, "And no secian should ever call another a liar."

Mebok says to Alwin, "pull out a knife and shank another one"

Siara says, "Since they don't lie."

Vaile asks, "Secians don't lie, why would you call one a liar?"

Sweetie exclaims, "They so do!"

Tzion'a says, "hurting someones feelings for the sake of hurting their feelings is a no no"

Syai says, "they do lie"

Sweetie says, "Shutting up, now."

Kento says, "secians don't lie..but humans do."

Siara nods to Kento.

Railt says, "Gobbies do too"

Vaile says, "Because OOC we know the Human behind them can doesn't mean a Secian EVER EVER EVER will."

Siara says, "ICly no one should ever think a Secian could lie."

Vaile asks, "Even bad guys picking on them calling them liars seems stupid to me, why would you bother? That'd be like trying to convince a toad it's a duck."

Siara says, "It's just a known fact they don't."

Vaile nods up and down to Siara.

Maggie asks, "so how do you respond to it?"

Syai says, "mine liked to lie"

Livana asks, "Ignore it?"

Vaile pinches Syai.

Zydrigeon says, "i wouldn't. like it didn't happen"

Weldoian says to Maggie, "You snort and roll your eyes."

Weldoian winks to Maggie.

Maggie says, "I don't snort"

Vaile says, "If you see a lie, treat it like it's not."

Vaile shrugs.

Maggie says, "they've been about me"

Weldoian exclaims to Maggie, "Ah! But you know you wanna be a piggy like Weldo!"

Weldoian says, "And me, even."

Vaile says, "Or just totally ignore it if you feel it's simply an OOC person sneaking into their character."

Attkayet says, "Or you could behave as if you believed they were misinformed, not lying on purpose"

Maggie asks, "does that mena I have to play the part I'm accused of playing?"

Livana says to Maggie, "I try to act like the Secian is mistaken or misinformed."

Maggie says to Weldoian, "or senile"

Weldoian exclaims to Maggie, "We'll be gettin' to that soon enough!"

Attkayet says, "yep, them old farters..."

Vaile says, "Hell, let us know if you feel someone is out to get you like that, the important part is, don't stop and call them a liar, all the IC'ness and RP goes out the window right there for both people."

Stanrar says to Maggie, "Alarians don't count"

Stanrar leans on Weldoian.

Weldoian asks Vaile, "Ready for the next one? Oh..."

Siara nods to Vaile.

Mebok asks Vaile, "how about Fibber?"

Vaile says, "And i've seen plenty of cases where a Secian has been accused of lying when someone simply didn't recall an event correctly, or they didn't hear all of a story."

Maggie nods.

Vaile says, "Simply because someone is wrong doesn't mean they are lying, if that were the case, we'd all be in real trouble."

Attkayet says to Vaile, "we ARE all in real trouble"

Vaile says, "Well, there is that, especially Litorth."

Weldoian says, "I think that a solution to that is a Secian saying, well, I heard this from someone, or I don't entirely remember everything."

Sweetie says, "Oh."

Vaile nods to Weldoian.

Mebok asks Weldoian, "gossing secians?"

Vaile asks Weldoian, "Got any more?"

Weldoian raises an eyebrow at Mebok.

Weldoian exclaims, "Yes!"

Sweetie nods to Vaile.

Weldoian asks, "Is it true that Secians who change their minds are bad rpers because they are liars?"

Weldoian says, "Again, I know the answer, but hey."

Vaile says, "No."

Siara asks, "Change their minds?"

Weldoian nods.

Livana asks, "Opinions on things you mean?"

Siara asks, "How would that be lying anyway?"

Zydrigeon asks, "say one thing, later change thier views ..thus contradicting themselves?"

Weldoian asks, "Like...if Weldo says he's gonna go buy a book, and instead buys a quill, is that wrong?"

Siara says, "No."

Attkayet asks Weldoian, "who have YOU been hanging around?"

Weldoian says, "or, I say I won't go to the Taathian temple, and then do."

Livana says to Weldoian, "As long as your intent at the time you said it was to buy a book.."

Tzion'a mumbles maybe influenced by beer.

Weldoian says to Vaile, "Well, no. But I'll give other people a chance."

Grayse giggles.

Morjin says, "I'd like to hear a bit more clarification on that last question"

Sweetie glances.

Livana nods to Weldoian.

Morjin asks, "If you say you won't go into the Taathian temple, can you later change your mind?"

Weldoian nods to Morjin.

Morjin asks, "What if you promise not to?"

Mahtina says, "Or emjedah."

Weldoian says, "That would be different."

Audun says, "If you believe you're telling the truth when you say something, then it isn't a lie, regardless of what you do later."

Morjin asks, "Can secians break promises?"

Vaile says, "Hrm, well.."

Morjin asks, "And what's the difference between SAYING you won't do something, and PROMISING you won't?"

Weldoian says, "Yeah, I've had a problem with that too."

Vaile asks Morjin, "In real life, if you say you're not going to buy an orange crayon, and go do so instead of the red you had in mind, do you think you lied?"

Livana says, "It depends on if you said it to decieve or if you changed your mind"

Vaile nods up and down to Livana.

Vaile says, "It's a grey area, as I see it, and as long as you're going at it with the best intentions and honestly aren't trying to lie, I really can't see how it can be a lie."

Vaile says, "Unless you're a pathalogical liar, lying requires some sort of cognatic reasoning behind it that you're going to do so. If that thought process isn't there, you're not lying, don't sweat it."

Morjin says, "Let me make an example, let's say you're imprisoned in Emejdah, and they let you out on the condition you agree not to ever return. Then a few weeks later your bond gets imprisoned there."

Vaile says, "Other players may run around and say, "oh no Eddy the Secian is a liar" behind your back, but you know what, they'll probably do that anyway."

Vaile chuckles.

Mahtina says, "When possessed of the correct knowledge, you give deliberate misinformation, aka, lie."

Tzion'a asks, "Eddy the Secian?"

Vaile chuckles.

Weldoian says, "Oh, how I was I can do that sometimes as Weldo."

Weldoian sighs.

Vaile says to Morjin, "Honestly, I'd say if you give your word, you're not going to go back on it."

Morjin nods.

Mahtina asks Vaile, "Even in his scenerio?"

Vaile says, "Short of being forced into Emjedah against your will, you just couldn't go back, your very nature would prevent it."

Audun asks, "So Secians can't ever break their promises?"

Verbaniah says, "just dont make the promise in the first place"

Vaile says, "Well, your Dragon being there might force you there against your will"

Slep'infir'a nods to Vaile.

Fawnna says, "I'd say be very sure you don't make a promise you can't keep."

Tzion'a says, "The Bond makes one do strange things"

Vaile says to Audun, "Secians aren't stupid, i'd argue they probably wouldn't make a promise they couldn't keep, and if they didn't, it would be for such extreme reasons it shouldn't come into question."

Vaile says, "Like Odarians, it's that whole Orderly thing."

Audun says, "I'd think that if your intent was to never return when they freed you from Emjedah, you'd be OK, even if circumstances forced you to return there later."

Vaile nods to Audun.

Audun says, "Though you wouldn't go against a promise lightly."

Livana says, "Phew that's a sticky one"

Vaile says, "If you told them, i'm never coming back, and then run out the door and come right back and giggle, you're gonna be taking a swim in Elgan's toilet bowl."

Zydrigeon says, "so..don't bond to callik and you'll all be okay on the emjedah thing"

Stanrar says, "Better for the Secian to kill the Emjedan so they don't have to give the promise"

Vaile nods up and down to Zydrigeon.

Morjin asks, "One last sticky area, what happens if you make two promises that conflict with each other?"

Kento asks Stanrar, "hey..when did you get here?"

Vaile chuckles.

Livana says to Morjin, "Your head explodes"

Vaile says to Morjin, "Do what your character would do."

Weldoian says to Kento, "Long time ago, blindie."

Livana says to Morjin, "Like I said..."

Livana cackles.

Mebok says to Morjin, "Call Shaft."

Vaile says, "We can't describe out every possible scenario and its resolution, alot of RP'ing is making these choices yourself "

Cerulean says, "Take the road that causes the least pain for others, prolly."

Vaile says to Cerulean, "The Utalitarianistic approach."

Vaile chuckles.

Audun says, "Find a way to weasel your way out of one of the promises."

Cerulean says, "Wait, I'm working that big word out"

Alwin says, "take an ethics class for utilitarian philosophy"

Vaile nods up and down.

Vaile says to Maggie, "You're up."

Maggie says, "I've seen and heard od secians slapping, kicking and punching people."

Maggie asks, "to me this is causing harm, is that the same thing?"

Vaile says, "I don't see why not."

Vaile punches Mahtina lightly with a little love tap.

Vaile says, "I don't think that is hurting anyone"

Vaile says, "But..."

Weldoian says, "Not like I've ever slapped anyone as Weldo..."

Weldoian glances.

Weldoian shuffles his feet.

Mahtina mutters and rubs her arm.

Vaile punches Mahtina to the mooooon ALICE.

Vaile says, "That's not good."

Livana waves at Mahtina.

Mahtina squeals.

Maggie asks, "so because the mechanics dn't cause harm, iot's ok?"

Vaile bows and catches Mahtina in a basket catch Willie Mays style.

Weldoian says to Maggie, "Depends on the intent behind it."

Zydrigeon says, "it's in the perception of the reciever/giver..not the ones watching i'd think"

Weldoian says to Maggie, "If it's meant jokingly, then I'd say no."

Audun says, "The question would be whether the intent was to cause hurt."

Vaile winks at Mahtina.

Vaile says to Maggie, "If you're harming someone on purpose, not good."

Maggie says, "I don't mean jokingly"

Maggie nods.

Siara says, "Right I think it's intent"

Vaile says, "If they see a message that says, "You take 1 damage" or not, it's still harming them."

Maggie nods.

Fawnna says to Maggie, "There's a bunch of laws against it now too, so since we don't break laws, that's a no-no I guess."

Mebok asks Vaile, "what if it's a game of pin the tail on the donkey?"

Maggie says, "when you mentioned not healing a mass murderer"

Mebok asks, "and the secian sticks a thugian in the arse with the pin?"

Morjin says to Fawnna, "We can break laws if it's for good cause"

Maggie asks, "would that be the same if the murderer were a dragon?"

Weldoian says to Maggie, "Steal my question."

Vaile says to Maggie, "Absolutely."

Vaile says to Maggie, "UNLESS, and this is a big unless, it's your bondmate. That's a subject i'm not sure I want to touch, but your chosen on down, if the Dragon is slaughtering hundreds for no good reason you're probably not going to want anything to do with em anyway"

Maggie nods.

Maggie says, "I don't see Karon ever doing that, but who knows"

Maggie smiles.

Audun asks, "If it's your bond, you run away screaming?"

Vaile says, "Your bondmate, well, that's half you, i'd say that's a do what your character would response."

Mebok says to Maggie, "you could of been Galen's chosen."

Grayse says, "i wouldnt think much of a dragon that would put a secian in such a position"

Maggie nods to Grayse.

Mahtina says, "I think the secian would snap, or go insain at the very least"

Sweetie says, "Worms are evil. They're all male in disguises. Murdering meanies. :P"

Grayse exclaims to Sweetie, "i'm not male!"

Alwin asks, "Is there someone logging this and putting it somewhere viewable?"

Weldoian says, "I am."

Maggie asks, "any chance of hands becoming choices secians ca't make?"

Weldoian says, "Unedited though. I'm lazy."

Sweetie says, "I'm logging, too."

Vaile says to Mebok, "Alright newt, you have the floor."

Mebok asks Slep'infir'a, "see? Power."

Mebok asks, "Ok, Do gobbies come from Secians?"

Mebok says, "in the start"

Weldoian asks, "Are all gobbies Secians before creation, ye mean?"

Mebok asks, "And do Secians, as a race gossip?"

Mebok asks, "and my 3rd question is What percent of the SGC staff is Secian?"

Clawntaka asks, "i think he's asking.. was the gobbie race created from gobbified secians?"

Mebok says, "AGC"

Mebok coughs.

Vaile says, "Gobbies from Secians, no."

Starlyn asks, "Ummm... no, no, none?"

Starlyn mutters something beneath her breath.

Slep'infir'a says to Mebok, "grow up."

Weldoian says, "That'd be interesting if they were..."

Mebok says, "i'm 1 foot tall"

Livana says to Starlyn, "Secians DO gossip about what color dragons gonna stage"

Vaile says, "I'm sure Secians chat and gossip in a friendly manner, but probably not negatively about others if they can help it, and especially not with lies."

Vaile exclaims to Yorlan, "You have the floor!"

Yorlan fidgets.

Attkayet says to Vaile, "I thought it was assumed the secian lived the life of the dragon, usually"

Vaile says to Attkayet, "You know what they say about assumptions."

Morjin says, "That was answered in some other meeting, bonded Secians get a big boost to lifespan, but it's still nowhere near as long as a Dragon's."

Vaile says, "One most wonder what an Imperial's bondmate would do when the Dragon sleeps for 300 years."

Grayse asks Slep'infir'a, "that secians do or dont live as long as dragons?"

Vaile says, "In this vast world, there are no givens in anything, bondmates on up."

Litorth asks, "A secian would live long enough to see his/her Dragon through all three stagings though as a general rule?"

Attkayet says, "Just asking because honestly, that was actually specifically said in a very ooold meeting long ago"

Vaile says, "Some Dragons don't make it past first stage, i'm sure some Secians don't live to see there Dragon get past that stage either."

Vaile nods to Litorth.

Starlyn says to Litorth, "I was told that there is no way a Secian could live long enough to stage a dragon all the way from draco to Imperial."

Weldoian says, "Weldo is the only Secian who'll live longer than his Bond."

Vaile says, "From my understanding of it, and granted Guntharra's isn't here to bail us out, the Secians life is raised when they bond with the Dragon, as they more or less share half of the Dragons life."

Weldoian says, "Except for Weldo."
