Discipline

Discipline is an important part of your child's education. Children need to learn to respect and work with other people. It is important that you be a part of this process. I send a calendar home every night in the homework folder that is stamped with a happy, straight-across, or sad face in colors that lets you know how your child's behavior has been for that day. I ask that you sign the calendar every night and talk to your child about his/her behavior. A child cannot learn unless he/she is listening and following the directions in the class. Each day a child starts over again on green. I understand that children are children, but we must work together to make sure that all the children have the opportunity to learn. I feel that all the children can learn  to follow the rules of the school and the classroom.  Together we can make our class a  great place to learn. Below is a list of my classroom rules.
Rules for the class

1. Listen and follow all directions.

2. Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.

3. Obey all school rules.

4. Raise your hand before you speak.

5.Work quietly and stay in your seat.
