Our reading story for the week is Ibis: True Whale Story. The words for the week are: curious, fought, tangled, coast, surface, forced. The skills for the week are: subject/verb agreement, vowel sound ou ( like in the word call ) suffixes ly and ful ( like in the word like/likely, thought/thoughtful), main idea and details. Continue to read the story every night with your child.

Math News

We will be working on telling time. If your child is having problems with this important life skill, please help at home. We will be having the chapter test on Friday.

We are writing stories, letters and poems in class. We are working on adding details to our work and making sure that our sentences are correct. We will be writing our last writing prompt for the year soon.
