| Impressive, Holmes, Watson stated. Elementary, my dear Watson. Now we must find out who the other criminal is, I added. Huh? There had to be someone helping him when he faked his death. Plus, didnt you hear him say we a couple times? Was there anyone else of the scouts missing? I questioned Watson. No, but remember the scout they found smoking? He was supposed to be sent home, but no one ever saw him leave! Watson explained. Astounding memory, Watson! Stay here and guard the missing scout while I look for the other criminal. Ill also need your CORK250. I spent over an hour pumping up my CORK500 last night and I dont have time to do that again. Alright. Watson gave me his gun and I took off for the other side of the cave; not sure of how Id reign over this adversary. I spent some time thinking as I ran, but before I reached the other side of the cave, someone reached out to grab me. Die, Holmes! I shoved him off me and ran to the other side of the cave. You wont get away that easily! When I reached the light, I took in my surroundings. A dead end! There was an opening, but it just lead to an area where the roof of the cave opened up. I dove behind some bushes and pulled out everything I had. All I had was Watsons CORK250 and a magnifying glass! I went for the gun. When my pursuer came into the light, I jumped out of the bushes. Your turn! POP! The cork flew straight at his head, smacked right on his forehead, reflected off it, and flew straight at me! The cork smashed into my forehead also, making the both of us fall to the ground. Moments later, we got up, both in a daze. Blast Watson! His gun wasnt strong enough! It seemed like I was doomed now, with only the magnifying glassThen an idea struck me! Its hopeless, Holmes. Theres nowhere to run! I stepped out of the bushes. Youre right, you win, I said as I held up both hands, one holding the magnifying glass. Aiming very carefully, I directed the lights reflection onto him. Huh? Whats that magnifying glass for? What are you going to do with it? Look at me to death? Then his shirt started to burn. Ouch! What the Then he realized what I was doing. Hey, you cant do that! Stop it! Oww! You cheater! You stupid cheater! He ran, but the light followed him. He finally gave up and fell to the ground. From the other side of the tunnel, I heard Watson and some cops coming. Case closed. When the officers came up to me they asked, What happened here? They ran away from camp and the rest of the world, hoping to start a new and more enjoyable life, I explained, trying to be as concise as possible. Youve done it again, Holmes, All in a days work, Watson, Hey! Its over, you can stop the whole Sherlock Holmes thing! Okay. Then be sure to capture me in my new sequel: Suspense is not Enough! Sequel to Black and Blue Eye and My Hamster Never Dies! Oh no. Not James Bond The End |
