| A lifetime to wander, a moment to ponder, a soul we shall never forget; For Jesus is near and we’ve nothing to fear, so there’s no need for doubt or regret. Our Lord and our Master, our Teacher and Pastor, a friend for forever, that’s why; it’s his choice to be near when those loved ones so dear must depart for their home in the sky. We can find in his grace, a most comforting place, where the darkness is soon turned to light and his hand is upon us to love and to warm us until we take our turn in flight. So remember, it’s love and God’s grace from above, for salvation where ever we roam; so until it’s his will, and like these we lay still as he calls us, each one, to come home. ALTMAN |
