The 25th of April is ANZAC day. ANZAC stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps This is a day where the New Zealanders and the Australians remember the soldiers that fought in WW1 and WW2. NZ and Australia have a love/hate relationship, especially when it comes to sports but the relationship between the 2 countries is strong, Australia is big brother to New Zealand and both countries look up to each other and the respect for eachother is something that is like no other in the world between countries. Thousands of Kiwis and Australians risked their lives protecting the countries they call home, the countries they love, the countries that are dear to their heart. Kiwis and Australians remember these brave soldiers as heros, who gave up everything to fight for freedom. Kiwis and Aussies love to pick on eachother, it's kinda like a hobby of both countries but when April the 25th comes around New Zealand and Australia stand side by side and forget that they're Kiwis or Australians because thats not important on that special day, Whats important is that our soldiers get the respect that they deserve and i pray to god that no other Kiwi will have to go through something like WW1 or WW2 again.
