Darkness of the Elements is a shrine to a select few original characters from Yu Yu Hakusho. Original means that these characters are made by fans of the series and are not official characters.
The story is in fact a RPG on Kenshin RP. A few people made original characters for themselves and interact with the regular characters of Yu Yu Hakusho.
The story takes place a few years after the Yu Yu Hakusho series. Everyone is enjoying their time, and decide to take a vacation together as a sort of reunion on a cruise (well, most of them agree anyway). But, all of the sudden their plesant get-together turns into chaos. Yukina becomes ill, and later becomes kidnapped. While this seems like the biggest issue to the Yu Yu Hakusho gang, they have another thing coming.
