SCOTT was the first person I ever talked to online, first person I ever called from the net, and first person I ever met in person. To this day, I've still never been to his house, but he's been to mine many times. The first time we met, a lot of my friends came along, and we hung out at On Cue and had pizza at Noble Roman's... Since he lives pretty close to home, I get to see him fairly frequently... |

NEJIFER is the name I have for Jen to avoid confusion when both her and Jen (below) are in chat at the same time. Anyway, she's one of my greatest friends. We first met because she was friends with Scott, and when I found out I'd be driving through Cleveland on my way home from vacation one summer, we decided to meet. We had such a good time that she decided to come out to my house on 4 occasions, I went to her place 3 more times, and we also met up at King's Island once for a couple days. (Since then, I've stopped counting, though she did make it to my HS graduation, my wedding, and down to Texas). Jen's one of those people who I will always stay in contact with and always continue to visit. We have a blast when we're together and we have had many great times... |

JENNY was a friend of Scott's and lived fairly close to him. I started talking to her fairly frequently when I first met Scott. Then, in January of '97, Scott brought her along with him to come to my house. Soon after, she sorta' stopped going online, so I haven't seen much of her since, but it was really cool to meet her and everything... |

RICHIE and I first started chatting back in the fall of '96, and he turned into this wonderful, irreplacable friend. Richie's the music king - whether it's the record label, the records, the web sites, Kozik, mtv, or WHATEVER. He even put up with me coming out to visit him on a few different occasions. We hung out and drove around a lot - did stuff like eat REAL pizza, go to record stores, and just talk. I even got him to come out to the city to visit Erica and me for our spring break. Even though he thinks it's impossible, I really enjoy it... He also hates to have his picture taken, and since I value my life, I had to cut out most of this picture. sorry... |

TED listens to cool music, and that's how we first started talking. I think I had talked to him a little before, but we started talking a lot more after we realized that we'd gone to the same Lollapalooza ('96 in Indy) but hadn't known each other enough to know to meet up. The next summer, Ted's parents were cool enough to drive him out to my house to hang out for a weekend and play bass for my band (the Creeps). We did a lot of cool stuff that weekend, and one of these days, we still hafta take a road trip... with or without a band... |

JEN was another person who I met fairly early on. I think I met her through Nej, but I could be wrong. Jen was the kind of person who I would talk to off & on. When I found out she lived near DC, I told her we'd hafta meet up next time I went out to visit my relatives. Sure enough, when Christmas of '97 rolled around, we (her, Dave, Andrea, and I) made plans and hung out at a mall all day long. We did cool stuff like walk around, eat, stockpile mall directories, and just talk and everything.. It was a fun time... |

DAVE is Jen's older brother. I didn't start talking to him until after I started talking to Jen, but it was he who ended up making all the arrangements to meet me in DC. He did a pretty good job, considering every time we'd make arrangements, my parents would change their minds... but we ended up meeting and having great fun that afternoon... |

ANDREA started talking to me around the same time as Jen. Sometimes I'd see her online a lot, and other times it would seem like we hadn't talked in forever. Andrea's good friends with both Dave and Jen, and so it was a nice surprise when I found out she was able to come along with them to meet me... |

RED started talking to me on ICQ one morning becuase we had the same handle. He didn't like me at first because my friends were all being mean, but we talked more later and things were cool. I never figured I'd meet him cause he is from Israel, but then he decided to take a giant trip around the US with May. He kept telling me that he'd stop by my house for a day or so when they were in the area, and as the summer neared an end, I got a phone call saying they'd be over the next day. We didn't get to do much, but they got to see where I work and get a glimpse of Indianapolis... |

MAY is Red's friend from Israel. I started talking to her a little when he introduced us online. I never talked to her as much as I talked to him, but I thought she was pretty cool. I'm surprised she actually made it to my house (she was driving) because I messed up when giving them directions. It was fun to finally meet her, though, and I'm glad she and Red made it out to visit... |

ADAM and I used to chat when I first started going online. I don't remember when we started talking a lot, but I think it was sometime during the first year of college ('98-99). We talked on icq a LOT - then I finally met him when I went out to Cleveland in May '99. We didn't get much time (all we got to do was see a movie, eat dinner, and drive around with a lot of people in a small car), but I'm definately gonna go visit him eventually... |
