Comments : I wasnt a crew member. I was with Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marines and my most vivid memory of the Tom Green County is riding out a typhoon. I had burns on my elbows and face from the canvas rack I was sliding on everytime the ship slammed down.
