there are 2 maps in this... 1salt.lab is the black and white version, 1salt10.lab is the color version... In the black and white version there is no color at all. So for team games and CTF games, you will not be able to tell the difference. So if you are going to play teams or ctf then i recommend using the color version but I still have Teams and CTF included in the black and white version for wacky games. Now read on....

						Important Notes

OK, here is the deal. If you want to run the Black&White version then you must exit all Outlaws windows before running this map or it will not be in black and white.. If you just got out of a game such as Longwar CTF and you didnt exit to windows, but you only exited to the menu, then the black and white version will still be in color.

If you just got out of a game of the black and white edition, and didnt quit to windows, just the Outlaws menu, then you must exit back to windows before you play any other maps with color in it such as the color version of this map or longwar or something.
					Why these problems occur

Ok it is a little bit technical and Im not really sure how to explain it but I will say it in a way that is more or less true. When you go into a game the settings that it had, such as being black and white, will stay the same in all the levels until you exit to windows. The palette that I used is RANCH.PCX and I edited to be black and white. So since RANC.PCX is an Outlaws files stored in outlaws.lab it keeps it fresh in its memory. So any maps that have the palette RANCH.PCX will be black and white until you exit to windows. Then the memory is cleared and everthing will be color unless you run the black and white version again, of course :P

Zone players should not have these problems since Outlaws exits after the game. But if you play in Mirc or Kali and you dont exit Outlaws after a game then it keeps those settings of the last map. Its more technical than that but more or less, thats what that means. I hope everyone understood... If you didnt you should find out by trial and error.. if that didnt help you then you need help... of course i mean you need help by emailing me at olhideout@yahoo.com for any problems that you may have.

Oh, these arent really problems just things to be aware of. No worries it cant mess anything up, or it hasnt on mine so if it does im not responsible.

I hope that I didn't confuse anyone and that you fully understood. So just to be sure, when your done with one map exit the game before running the next.

And if you want to use this black and white palette then please ask before doing so.
