Restoring C25 BEX
October 1995 to May 1996
During 1994 I became interested in showing C25 BEX with my local branch of the XR Owners Club.I'd shown it at FordFair '93 & seen some amazing cars in the concours arena. The East Anglian branch at the time contained the XR National day standard XR2 mk2 class champion D331 CPV,owned by Colin Kent.He told me everything he knew about entering concours so I decided to rebuild C25 BEX to compete in the modified classes. This means you can paint/polish/upgrade & change anything on the car, something not permitted in standard classes. On May 1st 1996 C25 BEX was ready to commence battle................
