| Fiesta XR2 mk2 -A33 TJN. |
| The Fiesta XR2 mk2 began production on February 20th 1984.Mass sales did not begin until Autumn of that year as problems were encountered with the exhaust system which effectively stopped the cars being sold,even though several had been seen on test in the motoring press.Only 165 mk2 XR2s are said to have ever been registered in the UK before August 1st 1984. |
| A33 TJN was registered on May 11th 1984,before the model was officially launched in June.Three of the cars used in the motoring press were A35 TJN, A38 TJN & A39 TJN. Other cars used were A869 TOO & A870 TOO. I have asked Ford for information about A33 TJN as the registration & time of registration imply it may also have been a press fleet car at the launch of the model.At this time (4/9/01) they have not replied yet. |
| I bought A33 TJN on August 23rd 2001,mot'd until March '02 for just �200.I am the 15th owner. |
