| I Would like to pay tribute to my team member, fellow RECON MARINE, and friend Jim Burns who died in a training accident at Camp Pendleton. Jim is 6th man from right on top row. He was a man who could be depended upon, and a top notch physical specimen who was pound for pound one of the strongest men I've ever known. His daughter will truly miss out on knowing her daddy who was a great guy. Your friends still miss you Jim. Semper Fi buddy. |
| This is where it all started for me. Thanks to my drill instructors who had the courage to ignore the SOP where it counted and trained us to be MEN, not wussies. May God Bless you all for making it hard to earn the title United States Marine. |
