M.Sc. (Microbiology) Osmania University, Hyderabad–500 007, Andra Pradesh, India.

    FELLOWSHIPS DURING Ph.D.

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) awarded by Dept. of Environment, New Delhi, India.
Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) awarded by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi, India.

    RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

    Ph.D. programme:
“Production of thermostable b-amylase and pullulanase by Clostridium thermosulfurogenes SV2” (Research supervisor: Prof. G. Seenayya).

    Objective of the Ph.D. programme:
“Optimal design of process parameters using statistical software packages for the development of a cost-effective fermentation process”.
As part of Ph.D. programme, designed and optimized thermoanaerobic fermentation process using various statistical software packages, which resulted in a saving of 99% on chemicals and time.

    Theme of the Ph.D. programme:
Use of thermostable enzymes in industrial processes helps minimize the contamination problems and increase the reaction rates.
Use of statistical methodologies for process optimization helps in rapid screening and optimization of process parameters in a limited number of experiments resulting in saving the time, cost and manpower.
