Lady of the North

Being the only child of Lord Leonard and Lady Irene of Dover, the Lady of the North was given every advantage. Being her fathers pride and joy, she would often go with him on the hunt even though her mother objected, and wanted her to stay in and learn the ways of being a Lady.

She convinced her father even to teach her how to use the sword. Although her mother disapproved, she also pleased her mother at her lessons of needlework, music and how to present thy self as a Lady of the courts.

She lived in a fine house with many servants, but was always respectful and courteous to them. As her father had taught her, A loyal servant is one who wishes to serve and is not forced to serve.

Two particular servants, John and Evangeline, of Welsh descent, were very close to the Lady of the North as she was growing up. They were always watching out for her and always had a kind word to say.

When the Lady of the North was a young woman, and was about to be presented to the court and terrible tragedy befell her house. A ship ported in the port of Dover and pirates attacked the family home. Although she fought along side her father and John, all the people she loved were killed.

She was lucky enough to hold John in her arms before he died the last words he spoke where although you were raised as Lord & Lady Trudgians daughter, in fact you were the Lords and Evangelines. The Lady Irene could not have children, and before I met my wife she had become your fathers mistress.

Not even having time to digest this information, the Lady of the North, was grabbed up from behind, gagged and bound with heavy rope and thrown into the belly of the Pirates Ship
