NATIONAL ABORIGINAL DAY 2003

RN will be participating in the National Aboriginal Day festivities in KAMLOOPS, BC on JUNE 21st. Thanks to the organizers for having us back, especially on such a big day!
Events will be taking place all day at the Riverside Park, near downtown Kamloops. SEE YA THERE!

RN appeared at the National Aboriginal Day event in Kamloops, but due to rain, the event was moved indoors. After a brief delay, the show was underway. Opening up for RN was singer NISKA, from Edmonton. Thanks to NISKA, Carol, and Lacey for bringing us down to perform again! We'll have pictures up within the week.

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY to CHIC DIZZY!

ALSO, We experienced some severe technical difficulties, which has delayed the album production. Aside from the setback the album should be released late summer.

And be sure to catch RN at this year's DREAMCATCHER ABORIGINAL YOUTH CONFERENCE in Edmonton, AB. This will be their second time presenting and performing at this national conference. Special thanks to the organizing committee for bringing us back!

Special thanks to the people out at the McLennan Youth Association and partnering agencies who made our trip to McLennan over the weekend a success!
The show was good, and so were the people. We literally blew them away! In a manner of speaking...Well, not long after the show was done, a big wind came into town and brought a heavy downpour of rain with it...lol
But other than that, everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you McLennan! [Watch for pics coming soon]

REZ HOP 2003

On May 31st, Rez Hop 2003 was hosted by Driftpile and Sucker Creek First Nations at the Sucker Creek First Nation Recreation Complex. Congratulations to Rayge, and also to Krazy C, Wildstyle, and Madjikal for representing RN, and to the event organizers. And a strong shout out to those who supported RN to the fullest!

CHIC DIZZY RETURNS...

REDDNATION is pleased to announce the return of CHIC DIZZY (formerly known as CHICADEE) to the group! After a lengthy hiatus, she is back and ready to go! She is currently working on new material produced by none-other than ILL LOGIKAL, and so far it is progressing nicely. Expect her to contribute to the upcoming debut album, and more projects in the future! WELCOME BACK CHIC!

Just a quick update...
Well, your favourite native rap group has returned from Thunder Bay! The shows were excellent, and so was the reception! RN was the FIRST-EVER native rap group to touch down in Thunder Bay, and so we've made a lot more fans and friends. Special thanks goes out to Jon Kakegamic, Irene Linklater, and the whole DFC crew for making our stay a good one. Check out the pics in the PICTURES section.

The day has finally arrived...
REDDNATION is putting the final touches on their debut album, and have set a proposed release date. The album features the hottest in Canadian Native hip-hop, premiere acts such as WARPARTY and TRUREZ CREW, just to name a few!
Expect their DEBUT ALBUM to drop June 21st, 2003.
Watch out for more details coming soon!

NOTE: The release date has been pushed back to mid-summer. But rest assured that it is still in progress, and will be released late July. Expect blazing joints from ILL LOGIKAL, MADJIKAL, INDOJUEZ, and CHIC DIZZY! Y'all ain't ready!
