Recommendation Letters and School Boards

 

 

 

 

Recommendation Letters:

Letters of recommendation are very helpful in regards to employment and higher education. When I recommend someone for a cause I use praise and positive examples that would substantiate good character and work ethics. Furthermore I would also ask what surname should be used on the letter to show a formal approach in regards to how one wishes to be addressed so there is clear and concise communication between concerned parties.

 

 

School Boards:

The Charter Oak School District is the one I chose to work with to complete my school board assignment for EVOC 503. School board meetings are important to the safety and wellbeing of the schools in the district and the communities they reside in. it’s the Superintendent’s responsibility to make sure things are being carried out in a timely and efficient manner and the schools are in the best possible condition for a healthy learning environment. I personally found it interesting to learn that the board members were not teachers or directly connected to the school itself. Overall it seems that the community is just as involved as the board is.
