When I came across "Summer" at SAI's sale I was looking for some young mares to add to my herd. When I saw "Summer" I though she may be abit old, but her fiery temper said other wise. This girl has alot of spirit and energy, and can be a handful most days. She is a gorgeous mare though and behaves when she knows who's in charge. She can just be bossy most times. She likes to run the show, and be top dog. In the paddock she runs all the mares, and makes sure she gets the best grazing spots.

Training

"Summer" may be an older mare, but she's no were near retirement. She shows the young one's a thing or two. She's a fierce competitor and loves to be the winner. At times she can rush at the fences, and get to eager. That's why she needs a rider with a firm hand to keep her in line. Her best discipline is dressage. When "Summer" enters the arena she gives it her all, and puts in an excellence performance. Though if training gets to repeatitive she gets bored and begins to play around.
