Sara has been dancing for eighteen years. She began her training at Studio E in Anderson, then moved on to Dance Depot studying under Cindy Michaels. She is currently a member of Redding City Ballet and California Dance Company.
Her teaching experience includes children through adults. At present, she teaches tap, jazz and ballet at Redding Ballet Academie, Redding School of the Arts and California Dance Company. She has choreographed both solo and group pieces, including pieces submitted for competition throughout the state of California. She also choreographes for Anderson High School's Show Choir and has to her credit such pieces as "Guys and Dolls" and "Oklahoma".
Sara's performance experience includes not only Redding City Ballet productions but reaches into musical theater. She is an accomplished singer and has had leading rolls in such productions as "The Wizard of Oz", "Little Mary Sunshine" and most recently, "Grease" with the Shasta College Summer Theatre Festivals.
Sara travels and attends many workshops, such as Tremain and New York City Dance Alliance. She feels it is important to have a fresh perspective on the latest dance moves.
