Sports - The Original Reality TV Yes, It is true, I am a sports fan. On the surface, the word sports nut or fanatic may appear more accurate, but I am much better than I used to be.
As a kid, I was totally consumed by all things sports. I started playing baseball before starting kindergarten. I played baseball, soccer, basketball and bowled. I did the obligatory year of jr high football, but as much as I wanted to play, was never built for it. Being 5'5" and 110 lbs at that age is not a good build for football.
I played basketball through my freshman year, I played baseball through my junior year, then spent my senior year as the sports editor of the school newspaper.
I watched all sporting events on TV, didn't matter what it was. If it was sports and on TV, I was there.
Baseball is still my favorite sport, followed closely by football, hockey and basketball. All sports championships are awesome to watch. March Madness a lot of fun, I'm in for the golf and tennis majors, but still not much of a racing fan. So sue me.
There will soon be pages for each sport. I'll put my fantasy team progress on here in the near future. I had an awesome draft in my fantasy baseball league. I should get off to a great start.
