This is Gabriola Island. A little island off the coast of Nanaimo(just north of us).  I really like this island, it is probably my favorite actually. It is full of tidalpools, cool wildlife and lots of nice people.  It also has some pretty sweet rock formations from the waves crashing into the cliffs.  Definitly a cool place to be.

To the left is me standing in the malaspina galleries, or as I call it, the cool rocks.

Above is Tara checking out the ocean. This is the coolest beach I've been to. There is all kinda of crazy sea life here. Plus is really beautiful and peacefull here too.We like it a lot.

If you look closely, you can see one of the silly ass red rocks crabs. They hide under the sand and when you step on them it really pisses them off and they come at you flailing there claws. It is quite a site to see!!!

Here you can see a big cluster of PURPLE starfish. Yeah, not little brown ones, purlple ones. We made a day out off saving them from drying out in the sun.  It was realy fun, and at the end of the day, I felt pretty good about myself.
