1758 Ticonderoga Campaign

 (A 250^th Commemoration to the 55^th Regiment,

Lord Howe’s innovations, and his heroic death in 1758.)

 

 

            For the 2008 re-enactment season, the company of light infantry, 55^th regiment will be attending events as Captain Alexander Moneypenny’s company (1758).  We will wear the uniform modifications that Lord Howe initiated in General James Abercromby’s army in 1758 on the Lake George front.  We plan to attend the 250^th anniversary of the ill-fated British attack on Fort Ticonderoga.
