The snow is coming down pretty hard as LMEBA; the Memphis to Batesville Local heads south through Horn Lake Mississippi in January of 2000.
IC GP40R 3106 leads southbound Intermodal IO1 through Horn Lake Mississippi in October of
1999.
It was still common at this time to find trios of the 1966 built GP40's leading Intermodal trains across the IC system.

Elcon 2000 made a visit to the Grenada District in December of 1999. Here the locomotive leads LMEBA through Hernando Mississippi.

The train continues south out of Hernando towards Batesville MS. in December

I caught the train one more time a few miles south of Hernando in December of 1999.
In January of 2000 North Mississippi got between 2-4 inches of snow. I caught LMEBA heading south through the snow behind my house in Horn Lake Mississippi.
The snow is all gone when I snapped this photo of LMEBA at Horn Lake Mississippi in January of 2000 behind two GP40R's in numerical order.
