M16A2 with a scope,  scope mount (Classic Army), Hi-Cap. Magazine (Classic Army), and camoflauge stuff.

Basic Review-
Stock the Tokyo Marui M16A2 is a decent rifle but is a little weak even tough it has a long barrel range is not all that good, when chronoed it was shooting at 240fps or so. The M16 has a full stock so it can easily accomidate a large battery. On one large battery I played all day and had no trouble. The standard clip has a 68 round capacity which to say the least is nothing when your shooting full auto you burn through it very quickly, around 5 seconds I think. On semi it is a decent "sniping" weapon within a range of 90 feet. Take in to account that this is without a scope. I like the stock sights, both front and rear sights are metal. The rear site has two ways of aiming. One is a large hole, for close quarter aiming, and if you flip the sight back a smaller hole comes into view this is for long distance shooting. It actually magnifies the target a little, I felt this was pretty neat. The motor for the M16A2 is a EG1000 motor thats where that high ROF comes from. Firing selector is loacted on the left of the gun and the magazine release is on the right. I don't know how well this rifle would be for a left handed person but whatever. Metal parts are abundent on this gun, to name a few: Rear battery compartment cover and "door", magazine, trigger, firing selector, charging handle, barrel assembly, sling mounts, and more. Trademarks are nicely recreated.

Problem Areas?
Trouble feeding was my problem, others have had this problem as well. It seems to be a defect or something, mine seemed to just stop having trouble feeding and is now working great. I did some tickering in the barrel area and I don't know what I did but I fixed it. I suggest asking your nearest airsoft dealer for tips because im not to sure how to go about fixing this problem. Now I don't know if all the M16A2s have this problem but mine and several others did also. Another problem that seems to plague people is a barrel wobble. Mine for one didn't have this problem but it may be due to the fact that I put camo tape and burlap over the barrel so it jst secured it down, but I don't know. DEN and Red Wolf are selling barrel renforers or something so I think this is a maufactures defect.

Conclusion-
This is a decent rifle, I for one like it I find it easy to move around with it and it is fun to use, however I think the M16-VN (Vietnam Version) maybe a better buy, Why? Because it seems the VN isn't plagued by the problems that the A2 has. But that might just be me. I bought it cause I didn't want to get camos to match it (plain green BDUs). I am sure that with some work (i.e. spring upgrade, high-cap, scope/sight, accurized barrel) this gun would make a excellent sniper rifle. It also can turn into an M16A3, with the addition of a metal body kit, etc... This is a good gun overall but as said above go with a VN or an A1 instead, but the M16A2 is a current looking weapon, I personally like it I can sneak around with it easily.

Future Plans-
I plan to get a metal body kit, spring upgrade, new internals (Systema), Scope mount base, and possibly a bi-pod but thats not too likely. ;]~

Simple, standard, cool. (notice the body color is lighter (greyish) in this pic, but not the top one.)
