This is the smallest handgun i have ever owned, it is probably also the coolest. It is made by Tanaka and incorporates the Pegasus System of gas usage, so basically the gas is stored in the cylinder instead of the grip like Marui Revolvers. The FPS on this gun was about 230 - 240 on a warm day. The report from this is a simple "pop" (literally) This is a 5 shot revolver in real steel, in airsoft it is capable of holding 10 shots, 2 per chamber, i would only load 1 in each it is easier to keep track of how many you already loaded, it can hold maybe 3 BBs in each chamber but this causes jams, load 1 in each - safer.
You can cock and decock the hammer, when the hammer is cocked the trigger pull is really nonexistent, there is maybe a quarter of an inch worth of space between the trigger and the end of the trigger guard, all you need to do is apply some pressure to the trigger and it fires. To release the chamber all you need to do is push the little switch right in back of the chamber itself, push the chamber out from the right and that's it. I think this revolver would be great if it had removable shells, that would make it sooo cool, but that would render the Pegasus system useless. The grips come off easily and can be replaced with real ones or the new wood grips that came out recently.
Metal parts are plentiful, basically the the frame is ABS plastic everything else is metal, save the grips which are also ABS plastic, wood textured. There are fake .38 rounds in the gun and serve no purpose aside from adding realism, one has a hole to full the gas chamber with, that brings me to another different feature of this gun, you have to use this copper tube that attaches to the end of the gas nozzle in order to clear the frame. The tube is included so don't worry about making your own. It also comes with a tiny black rubber O-ring that is suppose to be used to some what seal the connection point with the tube and the valve but it doesn't work to well to me, i usually don't use it. (in fact i think i lost it, its too small... :)
This is a neat little pistol and i have gotten i think 5 kills with it so far, i used it in about 3 games. Its not the most accurate gun but well it has a 2 inch barrel! I think this is more for the collector and is not meant really for field use, maybe CQB if you want to go with that detective look. This is a decent pistol and the price is, i think, worth it.
Update: Well i have found out really why i said it is mostly for the collectors, my hammer broke off!! It snapped in half, although i think it still works, i still need to find out for sure. I guess now i have a "Body Guard" Model :) That might be the better choice if you were to use this on the field, it has no hammer to be worried about. - Broke about after a months use.
