When
I started my quest for family names, I got to thinking about these
dates. William Hall coming to Indiana around 1807. Indiana wasn't even a
state at that time. And then I got to thinking about when the Mayflower
got here. Did I have relatives in America in 1620?
So
I decided I needed a little history lesson to put all these dates into
some kind of context. What were these people living through? The
following is some of what I found out.
