Richmond, JamesWill of James Richmond located in Trimble County Courthouse in Bedford Kentucky in Will Book 1 page 214-215. It reads: 
   In the name of God Amen. I James Richmond of Trimble County Kentucky being very old and in bad heath but of sound mind and knowing the certainty of death do make this my last will and testament in the words following viz. First I wish my body to be decently buried. Second I wish all my just debts t be paid. Third I give John Richmond, William Richmond, James Richmond, Henry Richmond my sons and the children of my deceased son Valentine Richmond each the sum of five dollars except Henry Richmond to him I give one dollar and the children of Valentine Richmond I give five dollars to be divided among them. Fourth I give all the balance of my property land and money to my only daughter Rebecca Crafton in consideration that she is to maintain me decent by nursing my life and in the event she shall die before I do then her husband Frederick Crafton and his children should be bound hereby to keep and maintain me free of any other charge. Lastly I appoint Frederick Crafton Executor of this my last will hereby revoking all others as witness my hand and seal this 5th of March 1858.

Trimble County court January Term 1872
A writing purposing to be the last will and testament of James Richmond deceased was produced to court and proved by WJ Wright one of the subscribing witnesses there to and at February Term 1872 it was presented to court again and preview and the oath of WH Gatewood one other subscribing witness thereto and ordered to be recorded which is done accordingly given under my hand this 13th day of February 1872 JW Lee clerk.

Ferguson, Andrew - His will was probated 5 June 1792 in Montgomery County, Virginia. He left his estate to his wife Catherine. Witnesses were sons Kinder and William and son-in-law Jacob Storm. From the Montgomery Co. Deed and Will book, 1773-97, p185.
