He was a Major in Virginia. I have no real proof of this.
American
Revolution
Crafton Sr., James
He was a private in Virginia. He is listed with the DAR.
Crafton Sr., Richard
He served in Virginia. He is listed with the DAR.
Ellis, William
He was a private and enlisted 6 Feb 1778 in Chesterfield, Virginia. He
served in the 5th Virginia Regiment. He was discharged 28 February 1779.
His pension file number is W.7092.
Civil War
Morgan, Thomas Calvin
I have no proof of this yet. This is a family story right now. His obituary
states that he was in the Civil War. Most likely that he was living in
Clermont County, Ohio when the war started.
World War
II
Adams, Manford Newton
He was living in Madison, Indiana when he enlisted. He was a
corporal in the Army. He had his training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He served in the Western Pacific
more specifically in the Philippines from
March 16, 1941 to November 5, 1945. He received an Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon with Bronze Star, Good Conduct Ribbon,
and Victory Medal.
