One of the many Blue Checks I raised this year.  This hen

and a sister are the best.  However, it is hard to find one bird 

from this mating that I would call a cull.

in this family.  Mother is loaded in station and type.

I raised a few nice black selfs this year from 

a Black Mottle hen from Bill Parker.  Every bird

from this hen was a keeper.  More photos to follow after the molt.

One of the better mottles I raised.  Even though 

he is a bit on the dark side he is of nice type and

color.

Very nice young hen.  Good power for a hen.  Raised 

two like this one from this pair.  I expect good things from this

bird at the shows.

Another black self hen I like.  She is more impressive when

held in the hand.  Super body on this bird.  Does not station

as well as her sisters.
