It has been proven this year at the Pageant and NPA National that my blacks lack the deep color needed to win. However, his OC is one of my better cocks that I plan to rebuild my blacks around. With the help of some West Coast friends I hope to improve the color in the future.

This picture does not do this bird justice. He is well colored with good power and type. He does carry blue and I get some nice silvers from him. He is a son to #717.

Blue Bar OC #406

Foundation Cock for my Blues. He is also a very good show bird. He has finished 1st or 2nd in every show entered. Every bird out of him this year was a keeper.

Best Blue Bar at 2001 National. She is a half sister to #717 and has produced several excellent youngsters this year. She and #402 were paired up last year and produced winners.

2000 Birds

Red Bar YC #453

My favorite bird for 2001. Excellent color, type and station. First Reserve Baldhead at 2001 National behind Brian McCormick's outstanding Black BH. Looking forward to his development the next couple of years. Mother was a bulleye hen and father a son to #717. I only paired them up because I was short in breeders. This proves that the value of good stock is not in what they look like but what the pedigree behind them looks like.

Very nice YH. As close to a 100 point bird that I have ever had. She lacks my normal power I have but more than makes up for it in other areas. Best Out of State bird and Best Blue Bar YH at 2000 Pageant. Parents are featured above (#406 & #402).

Blue Check YC #425

Nice blue check that I will be working with in the future to build my check family. Mated to a Bishop Silver Check this year and produced some nice off-spring.
