School Recognitions

From 1989 until 1994 Cassidy School was recognized annually by the Kentucky

Department of Education with a Flag of Excellence and additionally, several Flags

of Progress.

Cassidy School was recognized as a “Pacesetter School” by the

Kentucky Department of Education in 2000, and as a  “Four-Time

Rewards School” by the Prichard Committee, the Kentucky Chamber

of Commerce and Partnership for Kentucky Schools in January 2002. 

Cassidy School was also the first Kentucky school (and among the first thirty

Schools nationally) to receive the National

PTA, Parental Involvement School of Excellence certification.  The

school has achieved “Rewards” status in every KIRIS and CATS

assessment cycle.
